PM visits Karachi to review law and order situation

KARACHI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived in Karachi on Wednesday to chair a high-level meeting at the Governer House, regarding the city’s deteriorating security situation, Express News reported.
Attendees at the meeting were Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, DG Rangers, DG ISI, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar and the Corps Commander Karachi.
A briefing was given about the target killings that have been taking place in Karachi.
The ongoing operation against the criminals began in September of this year when the premier had visited Karachi to formulate a strategy to curb the violence.
