What's new

PM Nawaz Sharif will meet with imran khan today

Not to mention the notorious Khaada market.......yes it is unsafe, but one thing i have observed is that all the crime there is done by people living in DHA itself. You tell me, how easy it is to buy a pistol and use it to snatch someone's car or bike? These people know they can get away with it and they do it. We have guns at home. Anyone barging in late night or morning, will be shot. No questions.

In either case, the issue is that PTI has a lot of ground to cover. colourful rallies and concerts make little impact on actual progress.
And Imran Khan cannot be expected to end up in every constituency and push things along.

The colorful rallies and Tsunamis (as much as i hate that word in politics) were the result of the 'burger awaam', who themselves like us, having strong and stable family backgrounds could gamble with choices. When Musharraf was in power, it didn't affect me or my family. When PPP was in power, it didn't affect me as my family still had work to do, still had food on the table, good education, electricity through a generator. When PML-N was in power, we still didn't get affected,. We could afford to fuel our cars whether petrol was 60 or 110. We could still eat out whether it was 25 Rupees bun kebab or 1400Rupees meal at Jonny Rockets. So why does it matter really to me, who i support? But educated, 'burger class' :P people like us form what, the top 1-5% of Pakistan? What about the rest? That is where Imran khan needs to work.

Most of the fools who voted for Imran Khan under the banner of Tabdeeli and non-sense got a shock when he was the one pushing for TTP dialogue and ranting it out on facebook/twitter etc.

That surely tells us one thing: The upper echelons are too further away from ground reality.
