There is nothing wrong with Pakistan being an religious Islamic state...If Indonesia, Turkey, BD and many other Non Oil nations can be a Islamic state and prosper then why not Pakistan..But religion is not enough to make a nation....If religion is not infused with local culture to build a strong nationhood, then citizen will always looks for other reasons to bond together..

I always have a question to myself..If Pakistan identifies itself as a primary Islam as an identification then how can they differentiate between a Muslim in Afganistan or Muslims of Arabs..Because, for Muslims in Afganistan, Afgan culture and history in infused in their nationhood. And the same way with Arab nation too...But for Pakistan, your leaders never tries to develop anything expect Islam for Pakistan...So if you see, most of Pakistan always gets angry or criticize their own self and praise other Muslim leaders...

In one of the thread, @Kaptaan , i belive brought up a valid point...Pakistan has to start owning their own history of ancient civilization on top of Islam...See indonesia...It is one of the progressing modern Islamic nation and still then they did not wipe our their Hindu history from their current set up...I may be wrong...But it is always find strange, for very silly thing, Pakistan posters always start bashing your own leaders..

Most of the people expect that Arabs will not give any positiving to India because Pakistan do not like it? But why do you think UAE or any Arab nations will do it? Indian did not do anything wrong to neither Gulf nations nor anything to Arab people...
