What's new

PM Khan condemned EU officials for lacking the guts to ask India to condemn Russia.

As if Pakistan earlier pandering and bootlicking of the west and US have saved it from the Pressler amendments, and FATF watchlist, Arms embargo, US drone attacks, the WOT terror unleashed by US on Pakistan.

This brave new stance is much better.

It's dangerous to be an enemy of the US, absolutely fatal to befriend her. Same for the one sided EU pandering.
Pressley amendment was waived for 7 straight years and enabled Pakistan to get the bomb.
FATF - Is it undeserved ? hawala is a fact of life in Pakistan.
Arms embargo - I frankly doubt their is a embargo. The free stuff has been stopped from US. Europeans have supplied and are supplying high tech equipment to Pakistan.
Drone attacks - from where were the drones taking off from ?

You want to tell this man what to do?

He puts every Indian leader to shame including Modi who nearly triggered a nuclear war after Balakot. Every leader has blood on their hands apart from IK, I think he has more moral right to say whats on his mind than any of the other world leaders.
it's not a joke.
We guys on forums can be frivolous but a PM has the fate and welfare of a country in his hands, he has to be very calculated in his utterances.
Look at xi as an example. Doesn't say a loose word.

Trade deficit happens between countries who can trade.

When was the last time India asked for a bailout from IMF ?

We don't need economic lessons from pakistan.
India economic condition is actually very bad...the high Forex hides that.

And this...

Pakistan broke the Soviet Union? talk about delusions of grandeur :coffee:

before you make grand declarations take a look at your economy. Your trade with EU, US and US allies. Take a stroll inside the JF-17 manufacturing facility, count the number of US/EU origin machines inside. Ask your military who supported them with strategic and tactical intel in times of dire need.

of course after due introspection and forethought you are welcome to declare Pakistan an enemy of US and NATO.
We bought these machines with money , and what about the loss of lives of 80k+ Pakistani people for being front line of war on terror? What about the loss of 150 billion dollars of economy which we had suffered since the start of war on terror? If they dont have any shame by keeping us in grey list , and not condemning the Indian illegal kashmir annexation then why we would even care of these unfriendly countries friendship ??

What Prime Minister Imran Khan stated is inline with foreign policy

United Nation should be addressed to resolve matter, we are not writing any individual letters

It is addressed , Pakistan welcomes peace in conflict

You just reflected your lack of economic knowledge.

Please read more before commenting.

This is called bad economic situation.

Literally posting Indian sources 😂😂

Could have worded better but its good PMIK pointed out the hypocrisy. China, Pakistan, GCC helped the west win cold war 1, lets see what India does for them in cold war2. True the west controls the global financial high ground today but for how much longer? Russia has hard assets (wheat oil gas) it can trade and west has fiat currencies currently being debased at record levels to trade. :undecided:

Should i get my news from PTV ,geo ?

WION,Hindu,Mint etc all are global networks, how difficult is to understand this stuff ? :pop:

Ok tell me about these "international accreditations" you speak of. Being global vs having "international accreditations" are two different things. Anything on the internet/world wide web is technically global. 😅 Even my tweets are global.

Point being ?

They literally quote pakistani sources.

Besides Indian newspapers & media house have international accreditations and have ties ups with biggest global news outlets unlike pakistan.
Pakistani sources? LMAO you are talking from your backside mate. Bloomberg is American, BBC is British and the others he quoted are your so called “international accreditations“ sources (Economic times and theprint)
and yes I agree, like how france24 reported, india is the biggest source of fake news, now, don’t start saying these all are pakistani sources aswell.

I like IK is a brown version of Donald Trump, his statements and reactions were also unpredictable. Thing is we can not go against the West right now, and right now entire Western Propaganda machinery is at full swing, our leaders needs to chose their words and statements very carefully.

You are right, I think many members here miss the difference between bold and brash.

Telling other countries to FO when you are very much dependant on those countries is not a smart thing. Even India with its vast market and diplomatic relations does not speak like this, especially in public, from a PM no less.

This will get pak in more trouble, not less.

What's wrong in asking both sides to come to the table and talk. We are just not taking sides here, we do not have any kind of alliance with US or west anymore, unlike India who is a part of Quad and still chooses to not condemn Russia.

Pakistan is not telling anyone to FO. Pakistan just wants both sides to come to the table and negotiate. It is not taking any sides be it Russia or West.

Situation is same as when Pakistan didn't want to be a part of Yemen war and didn't choose sides.

Gone are the days when the West used to pressurise Pakistan to dance to their tunes. It all started with "Absolutely Not".
