PM Imran live address to the nation on banned TLP issue

The TLP represents a significant majority of Pakistanis as violent extremists and near terrorists who would put ISIS to shame. This has everyone from the establishment to the PM and his incompetent advisors shaking their boots with no clear way to handle this cancer.

Worse yet on this particular issue, the way I see it, the PM and his government were using the France issue for political posturing a few months back. When you've had nothing but dismal internal performance, it must have seemed an easy way to pander and win some brownie points from this section of society.

Truly, God help Pakistan. I can scarcely remember a more bleak period in our recent history.

Banning 'Social Media' is the absolutely right thing to do. In all frankness, people of Pakistan are NOT ready for social media. Your assessment is absolutely correct. Days before this ruckus, military leadership met Khan and I am pretty sure they got the TLP banned because just weeks ago PTI and TLP were thinking of an electoral alliance in Karachi NA 249 election and in Punjab.

Hindus are having a field day all over twitter, youtube, facebook and other platforms they are actually inciting people by playing both sides on a large scale by even sharing indian riot videos. PML-N's media cell is actually fully receiving this content and spreading it.

Now, We need an internal intelligence agency that that is proactive like FSB in Russia or Internal Security department of Singapore. Even an internal ISI will do and will save many lives and enable stability. Why the establishment doesnt do it and leaves the internal situation to IB and FIA who are heavily corrupt is beyond me.

Funny thing is that our establishment keeps on harping about hybrid warfare, but does nothing about it.

Our police is still being governed by 1861 act and even the police order of 2002 was not implemented.

How can anyone think of fighting a hybrid threat with such a debilitated state.

Polarization of Pakistan has begun and I dont see the military leadership interested in anything else other than cantonment area maintenance. Hope I am proven utterly wrong.

I am sure IK is now regretting the day he gave extension to Bajwa. Although IK's intention was good cause he thought it was good for the country, but ultimately, it was the wrong decision since on many occasions Bajwa has let down the country and the armed forces. Protest started 12 april why and today is 20th of april. But because media is known to twist the facts to suit their rating needs and no one can ask question or put ban on media on this because azadi -e- rai ko khatra hojata hie.
