Finally!
The plan should have been updated long ago.
In the original plan Rawalpindi was to be eventually taken over by Islamabad but our Genius Rulers instead of controlling it, expanded it even further.
And something definitely needs to be done about the housing societies, they are spreading like cancer.
Only Bahria and DHA are managed properly and in guise of them the rest are having a Mad Max type party.
In my opinion private developers should be allowed to build homes but once they are sold to people local administration should take over. That's how it's done world over it's only in Pakistan and a few other countries who allow this type of development where people become owners of whole towns.
And please designate a place for High Rise Buildings so Islamabad can get a decent Sky line.
