Pm Imran Khan and Russian President Vladimir Putin meeting fixed

Hi,

'71' was a blessing in disguise for west pakistan and east pakistan. Both brothers started travelling in search of their destinies---.

Pakistan failed because of nationalization by Bhutto and corruption---.
Angoor khata hain...
Why Pakistanis still have this behavior after all this time.
It's not matter of being brave and saying I don't feel any pain. Now after all this time one should shed one's tears and releaize the damage and hurt caused to each other by our own self. Time to accept that though this mishap has happened but it is a very sad thing...

Pakistan eyes arms from Russia & better ties with Moscow in ‘changing’ world – PM

Islamabad wants to procure weapons from Russia and develop military-to-military relations, Prime Minister Imran Khan said, adding that he is happy Pakistan is moving “closer” to Russia in the “changing” world.

“Yes, we are looking for arms from Russia, and I know our military is already in touch with the Russian military,” Khan told Sputnik News on Thursday.

Although the Pakistani military has relied on Western and Chinese suppliers for decades, its interest in Russian weapon systems has grown over the years. Recently, there have been reports that Pakistan is looking at an array of fighter jets and attack helicopters, including the Sukhoi Su-35 and Mi-35M.

Pakistani troops have also been taking part in Russian war games, while a number of their officers have been trained at military academies in Russia.

While both countries were in “opposite camps” during the Soviet war in Afghanistan (1979-1989), times have changed, and “I am very happy that we now are moving closer to Russia,” Khan said.

The world is not what it used to be, according to the PM, and this has effects on bilateral relations.

The power centers are changing, or there are different power centers growing. And so we hope that in this new world order our relationship with Russia keeps improving.

Islamabad used to “look to the United States as the only ally and trading partner.” But now China, with its Belt and Road Initiative, is increasingly shifting into the focus of interest as well, the prime minister said.

Hi,

Really---"quite young"---next time---click on the screen name---.

And first and foremost we must learn to work hard and stop waiting for these benefits or peanuts from time to time..
If base is strong we would thrive if not and based on these artificial benefits then we would crumble like house of cards as we have done in the past...

Hi,

Working hard gets you 'nowhere'---. You have to learn to work smart---.

Hi,

It is not USA that cut the seats---it is president Trump who did that---. Next change---they will be restored---.
If I am not wrong Pentagon all training still intact.

why would pakistan want to pick an active fight with Iran when you have already one unfinished one going on with India ?
I think after SU30 PAF encounter , Pakistan has no hope or interest in Russian front line weapon. Old upgraded F16b still knocking down Indian SU30.... and still priceless.

We think we have been smart in the past but it backfired badly.
That is because we have been too radical in choosing sides.
We are litterly manifestation of 'with you or against you' . This needs to be changed..
As for your age, sorry for that but I have seen many youngsters here wanting for another 9/11 type or yemen war type opertunity...
Certainly if we are in a stronger position things would be different but we are far too vulnerable and needs to thread things carefully..

Hi,

Wars define the fortunes of the nations---. Pakistanis did not know and understand that concept---because they have no history of being a nation---.

What pakistan has going against it is being a muslim nation with nucs---. A few muslim nations hate pakistan for that---and off course many a western nations do as well---.

In the last 12 years we saw 2 major attempts at the life and resource of pakistan---bringing in Benazir / zardai and Nawaz---.

Both these were programmed to destroy pakistan economy in their tenures and the western nations would hide their looted money---.

Pakistanis may talk as much they want to---but wars changer the fortunes of nations---and that is a historical fact---.

You cannot stay neutral with the assets and the religious badge that you have---.

. .
What is the use of nuc except for deterrence against India

Hi,

Of no use at all---. That is why I have stated that Bhutto's decision of going nuclear on one hand and destroying the industrial and education base on the other hand has destroyed the country---.

We wrapped our selves in a false protective blanket of being a nuclear power---& forgot to develop the rest of the fields that make the nation strong---.

For that false sense of security---we have paid dearly.

Can explain some more ....on that paragraph ....

Bhutto has done the worse to Pakistan.
He broke Pakistan. No matter how much people say otherwise..
He destroyed industrial bases .
He just simply destroyed everything

Hi,

Fear is a terrible thing to live under---and a constant fear of your existence being challenged from a known enemy that is not going to miss a chance to destroy you---there is no bigger fear than that.

For that we went the nuc route---. We believed that was going to be our saviour---first Allah and then the resource on the ground---and off course it was---.

But the major part of the equation that we did not realize was---that the best helping hand is at the end of your arm---and that was our education system---our industrial base---our culture and character---our young men---whose only wish is to wear the khaki uniform.

We thought that at the critical time---all involved will push the button---and now we know that is farthest from the truth---. Some will push the button---and some will not---they would rather be subjugated and live---.

We did not realize---that with education and industry---our economic strength would increase---we could arm ourselves with potent weapon systems for protection and strike---.

But the most important part of growth was to spread out militarily---into regions that needed our assistance---. And that is the HISTORICAL TRUTH---.

We had a resource---manpower---a manpower that joins military---and there is no lack of manpower---and that is our industry---we did not use that industry properly---.

Next---to keep the center safe---your power projection needs to be farthest away from the center---. The more the distance---the lesser the chance of enemy hitting your main land---case in point USA---.

Now look at mainland china--- It has a massive massive problem---it developed at a very fast pace---industrial boom---the military technology boom lagged behind---china did not spread out its military base---and now it is being contained---even though it is trying very very hard to break free---.

Now---the break free point is Gwadar---and the opponents are trying every trick in the book to contain that growth---.

Now---instead of being bogged down in a shia sunni mindset---if future growth of pakistan was primary---then Yemen crisis was a gift given from Allah to pakistan to change its destiny---.

If pak had built up a troop strength of 150 K troops at the expense of GCC and kept them located at critical places for the security of the GCC---that would have been 150 K troops extra at a very critical location---.

A part of those troops would have covered a certain enemy flank which the enemy had never never dreamt it could face threat from---.

What would that have meant---the enemy would have to have dispersed its military assets to cover that flank---thus weakening its main position of thrust into pakistan---.

That is the military part---. What other gains would we have---economic gains---. We would have more say in the job market---. Our presence would have a favorable appeal to our mothers sisters and daughters---children boys and men in the GCC when they see our flag and our uniform ready to lay down our lives for their safety and protection---.

And in doing so---we are just using OUR INDUSTRIAL PRODUCT---then men of the region---the only thing they know is to put on a uniform---hold onto a rifle---and say " sir---yes sir---I am ready to defend and strike---give me the order "---.

Bhutto has done the worse to Pakistan.
He broke Pakistan. No matter how much people say otherwise..
He destroyed industrial bases .
He just simply destroyed everything

Hi,

The worst thing he did to pakistan was to " destroy the character of the nation "---everything else you can build and rebuild but the character---.

To re-build character---you have to pay a very heavy price---.

IK will most likely ask Russians to invest in CPEC . There is no shifting in camps for now, until Pakistan's economic condition gets better we are no Position or situation to choose one country over the other .
