PM Imran Gives A Befitting Reply To President Trump’s Statement

Is USA asking Pakistan for money, if we are going to go off topic. :D
We arent going off topic and no to your question....

But that is how it is shown in records...weapons dont come cheap nor are our people and their lives....a price we havent put...Nor the terrorism that shook our side of the world due to "helping American" - Another aspect we havent converted to dollars yet! So I would say the price is about right if not less than ACTUALLY IS! :D

He is PM of Pakistan. Why he needs to consult FO or GHQ on this ? He has full liberty to express himself as PM of Pakistan.

GHQ were busy taking US dollars to fatten their pockets and kept quiet. Even gave NATO free passage for under the table cash.

When you have a lionheart like Imran GHQ will follow his lead.

@VCheng you may spend your retired life auditing for the Pak army...Don't forget to include the infrastructure damage, years economic damage, loss of life esp children, expenses needed for curbing terrorism at home (not just in Afghanistan), logistics for that, psychological trauma, un-brainwashing camps, and the every now and then craziness from across the border despite US army still sitting in Afghanistan!

Now add to all that the no. of army men lost due to operations for helping USA and also backlashes! Our PM can put any price on our people and it will still be less so kindly dont whine about the amount! The real amount America cant fathom!

I have no need to discuss KSM. Let IK look like a fool internationally for making false claims. Not my problem. :D
Interesting how you failed to call Trump the fool for his false claims :pop:

PM Imran Khan hits back at Trump's tirade against Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has strongly responded to US President Donald Trump's tirade against Pakistan.

In a series of tweets, PM Imran Khan said record needed to be put straight on Mr Trump's tirade against Pakistan:

1. No Pakistani was involved in 9/11 but Pak decided to participate in US War on Terror.

2. Pakistan suffered 75,000 casualties in this war & over $123 bn was lost to economy. US "aid" was a miniscule $20 bn.

3. Our tribal areas were devastated & millions of ppl uprooted from their homes. The war drastically impacted lives of ordinary Pakistanis.

4. Pak continues to provide free lines of ground & air communications(GLOCs/ALOCs).

Can Mr Trump name another ally that gave such sacrifices?, PM Imran questioned.

Instead of making Pakistan a scapegoat for their failures, the US should do a serious assessment of why, despite 140000 NATO troops plus 250,000 Afghan troops and reportedly $1 trillion spent on war in Afghanistan, the Taliban today are stronger than before, Khan added.

On Sunday, US President Donald Trump defended his administration’s decision to stop hundreds of millions of dollars in military aid to Pakistan, saying the country does not do "a damn thing" for the US and its government had helped al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden hide near its garrison city.

Referring to Laden and his former compound in Abbottabad, Trump in an interview to Fox News said, "You know, living – think of this – living in Pakistan, beautifully in Pakistan in what I guess they considered a nice mansion, I don't know, I’ve seen nicer."

Let me start off by saying that I personally regard Trump as the ultimate fool, as does much of the world, and rightfully so!

Second of all, you are correct that Pakistan's losses cannot be quantified in monetary terms, but such are the costs of playing international geopolitics. What Pakistan decided had both its costs and benefits, and it is up to Pakistan alone to bear them and not expect anyone else to make it whole.

We arent going off topic and no to your question....

From where does this expectation arise that others will pay all the costs of Pakistan's decisions?

4. Pak continues to provide free lines of ground & air communications(GLOCs/ALOCs).

Can Mr Trump name another ally that gave such sacrifices?

Why provide free transit? WHY? May be no other ally is foolish enough to do all of this?

1) It is not up to us to bear them....We were supposed to "help US" not adopt the war.
2) Part and parcel of the agreement was US would pay us for our service and now it pulled back...Had we known this, I doubt we would have "helped" them this long...No other "friend" has.
3) We are bearing the most part - loss of life, economy, psychology - none of which can be measured in monetary terms nor will economy and psychology return to normal overnight! - So a consequence we are already quietly suffering!
BUT FOR TRUMP TO BS we did nothing...Well, sorry that is way and above lies and tolerance level!

.
This figure is what Pakistan claims it has lost, but no other confirmatory evidence is available. Losses due to other causes such as corruption and mismanagement cannot be lumped under the terrorism heading.

Pakistan is fighting war on terrorism for a pretty long time now. Sit with yourself one day & estimate the budget it has consumed, I am sure, it would be more than the amount you just mentioned in one of your Post.

I have no need to discuss KSM. Let IK look like a fool internationally for making false claims. Not my problem. :D

“Let IK look like a fool...”? For real? The world is praising IK, it’s just some liberals of Pakistan and some Pakistani like you targeting him on everything & very irrationally.

What expectations? Trump is twitting we do nothing! Compare nothing to what we do...And your question was regarding the cost so I told you that the cost in reality is way higher than anyone will tell you :enjoy:

Does IK have guts to STOP these free lines like Trump has actually stopped the payments? :pakistan:
