PM for translating Nazrul’s works

Pls you can try taking the flight towards India and watch those films
it doesn't take long. Dubbed Hindis will be even more insane.
Why not the good japanese or Iranian dubbed?

Money is the reason.

Also the audience.

The film equating as close to the Bangladeshi culture will go a long way.

Intellectuals can see and enjoy foreign films, but as you say, will the rickshaw pullers?

Who constitute the majority of the audience?

A commendable action by the Bangaldesh Govt.

However, Nazrul was an Indian all the way through, being born and lived his life in India.

It was only after Bangladesh was liberated that he was asked by India and invited by Banglasesh to go to Bangladesh since they have no Poet Laureate of international fame.

Therefore, one wonders if the Bangaldesh PM is factually right in saying that Nazrul dreamt of an oppression-free Bangladesh where everybody will live in peace and tranquillity.

But then history is reinvented to suit the history one wants to project and then make it, after a few years when memories fade, as the Gospel!

Really commendable! Nazrul is a great icon in both India and Bangladesh. I think there should be a online library of Nazrul both in English and Bengali.

I am in favor of allowing dubbed hindi film, but no Hindi should be allowed.

I like my films original. When I buy anime, I never buy the dubbed ones. They sound stupid

Instead go for ones with subtitles.

Well, movie remains as original even even with dubbing. Its the low quality dubbing which made you think that way. So many films getting oscar and having box office hit with dubbing.
