Plot to kill 10 Ctg madrasa teachers

Eight Shibir activists were arrested in Chittagong city yesterday afternoon allegedly for planning to kill 10 teachers of a madrasa in the city.
The arrestees confessed to the police that they planned to “beat” the teachers for speaking ill of convicted war criminal Delawar Hossain Sayedee and “preaching wrong information about Islam”. The Shibir activists made a list of the teachers to this end.
Officer-in-Charge Pradip Kumar Das of Panchlaish Police Station, however, said the Shibir men actually planned to kill the teachers of Jamiah Ahmadia Sunnia Alia Madrasa located at Bibirhat.
The arrestees – Mahmud Hasan, 21, Abdur Rahman, 19, Jamir Uddin, 23, Rezaul Karim, 23, Md Yunus, 23, Ashrafullah, 27, Osman Gani, 26 and Arifur Rahman, 16 – hailed from Cox’s Bazar.
One of the arrestees, Mahmud Hasan, is a student of the madrasa.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team raided Shyamoli residential area around 3:00pm and nabbed Mahmud with the help of locals, said the OC.
With information from Mahmud, the team nabbed the others from a three-storied building in Kala Mia Bazar area of the city around 5:45pm.
Mahmud said he went to Shyamoli as planned to collect information about the teachers so that they could beat them up later.
The teachers are Ashrafuzzaman Al Quaderi, Jalaluddin Al Quaderi, Obaidul Haq Naimi, Joynal Abedin Jubaer, Sagir Ahmad Usmani, Osiur Rahman, Abul Kashem Nuri, Abdul Wazed, Mufti Yunus and Tawhidul Alam.

Hot on the heels of bloody violence for two days elsewhere in the country, Jamaat now plans to wreak havoc on Dhaka and make BNP's today's hartal equally violent, according to intelligence sources.

Jamaat does not want to take the blame alone for the recent spate of terror across the country and plans to associate BNP with the violence by filling their shoes, the sources add.

“Jamaat-Shibir men may unleash terror tomorrow [today] in the capital and parts of the country. As part of their ploy, they may even use firearms to kill BNP activists forcing them to go for a tougher stance against the government,” a National Security Intelligence official told to this end.

this allegation don't' seems reliable what told in police custody . they were beaten just after being arrested what was visible in their face . secondly what benefit would Jamat get by killing 10 Alem i this crucial time ? from the beginning Jamat were bashed by some section of Alem in subcontinent but we never heard they killed them for that in 60+ years of Jamat politics in subcontinent. this drama is to divert people attention and to disrupt Alem's unity to fight against Al govt mass killing and patronizing Atheist blogger .
