Former information minister Abul Kalam Azad on Wednesday alleged a conspiracy is being hatched in the country to kill the prime minister Sheikh Hasina.

Awami-League (AL) men are also reportedly involved in this conspiracy.

He came up with this remark while addressing a general proposal in the parliament over 15 August in 1975.

Abul Kalam said he won’t talk in detail about the plot in the parliament. If he would get a chance to meet the PM, he would inform her. AL men are also reportedly involved in the conspiracy in exchange for money.

Detective branches, including DGFI, NSI, DB, do not provide exact information on many occasions, he claimed, adding that the prime minister should collect the data using own mechanism -- through the leaders and activists of grassroots level.

Peaceful power transition is a trademark of a civilized country. When it fails, bloodshed follows!

.
The plot is simple:

As the US put more pressure on Hasina (ref. secret prison, RAB, human rights bla bla bla), it allows India to demand greater influence in BD in exchange for continuation of AL government.

Lets face it, although Hasina is the least worst option for BD, her leadership position cannot continue without some form of Indian support, because there wasnt any real democratic free elections. This simple fact will be used as an excuse to pressure Hasina.

The end goal is to make Hasina provide more goodies to India and maybe also America. In US eyes, any indian win is also a chinese loss.

America wants a pliant BD.

They want to cancel all Chinese influence.

Result will be a BD that is totally beholden to India.

US has tamed Pakistan. Now it’s BD’s turn.

BBC, DW, VOA and loads of Bangla YouTube channels are laser focused on Hasina.
All that attention mean someone or entities want something.

She does not have to be so power crazy, cause she does not need to be if she is truly working for the people. Folks will happily vote her in over and over for job well done.

ISI should work with Begam Khalida Zia for a regime change in BD.

ISI is too busy selling Pakistan 🤣

People will not vote for Hasina in large numbers because she is tied to the BAL thugs.

But without BAL thugs - it will be impossible to control all the unruly elements.

This guy knows so many things when no one else knows anything. Hasina Bibi will certainly consider the option of re-appointing him to an important post.

This may be his goal to spread rumors.

.
I don't believe this at all - Hasina has at most one more term in her, health wise, why would anyone risk assassination at this stage?

I think most powerful elements in BD are happy with the current status quo, the ones not happy are too weak and powerless (opposition parties).

.
If Hasina and that BAL party people think they are so popular, why did they scrap the CTG system for which they continued street agitations for a generation?

Reinstate the CTG system, give a fair election and accept people's verdict. BD people want democracy in its due place. Whoever is brought to power is the decision of the population.

The very popular Hasina Bibi should follow our democratic tradition and arrange for CTG and fair elections. Who cares if the BAL party is defeated and Hasina is hanged by the street pole for killing 57 military officers?

She must remain power hungry because she knows once out of power she will be tried for the act of conspiring to cause Pilkhana carnage that saw the killing of 57 military officers.

Who says BAL or Hasina is popular?

No one is popular in BD. They are all crooks.

But BAL gets “elected”, like US Republican Party, despite not being popular.

Remember, neither Bush nor Trump won the votes.
