Showing no signs of withdrawing from the Indian territory after their incursion in Ladakh two weeks ago, Chinese troops have erected an additional tent in the Daulat Beg Oldi(DBO) sector raising to five the number of such structures in the area.

The Chinese troops have also deployed Molosser dogs to keep a vigil, according to latest reports on Monday from the site of incursion, 70 km south of Burtse in Ladakh division.

The reports said the Chinese side have increased the number of tents to five.

A banner hoisted outside the camp reads in English "you are in Chinese side" with the People's Liberation Army (PLA) personnel maintaining a round-the-clock vigil along with the Molosser dogs which are considered as the best for keeping a watch in these high-altitude areas, official sources said.

While their officers were armed with Chinese Makarovs, the PLA soldiers had a variant of AK series of assault rifles.

India is f***ed!

I have to admit, it takes balls the size of barrels to do something like this and claim you are not intruding, and a supreme confidence that the Indian government won't call China's hand and forcefully evict them.

If this was tried against the US on the aleutians or Guam or Russia with Siberia there would be an eviction or war...

Actually, objectively what is happening is China striking back at Indian encroachment over the past 5 years.

First, China defeated India in 1962 and defined an LAC in our favor.

Second, we withdrew 20 km from the LAC to show good-will and allow the Indian army to return to their side of the LAC. The 20 km is so there is no contact between the two armies.

In the 80's, India became more aggressive and started patrolling into China's side of the LAC, but without building structures in that 20 km. PLA also patroled the same 20 km. We did not object to their presence but tried to find a solution to the border problem -- it failed.

In the past 5 years, Indian army improved their logistics with helicopters and they started building permanent structures in the 20 km zone China considers to be on our side of the LAC. Before we had a weak leader so we didn't do anything. Indians knew they were taking advantage of us so their Prime Minister MMS talked about China-India peace and so on.

Finally, China got rid of its weak leader and installed a strong leader like Putin. Now we press the Indians back to their side of the 20 km zone by putting up tents, getting ready to extend highways and rail and deploying heavy vehicles like tanks in the rear areas in case of conflict.

So the area China is in is not totally within India line of control as agree by both parties? Can any Indian confirm what Hong Wu is saying. @sancho @Joe Shearer, since you two are two of the most fair and respected Indians in this forum, can you confirm Hong Wu's statements?
