PJAK (Party of Free Life of Kurdistan), Iranian offshoot of the PKK terrorist organization, has claimed that it has killed 20 Iranian soldiers in their attack upon a military guard post in the Kurdish province of Mariwan, reported the BBC.

PJAK's armed wing YRK (East Kurdistan Defense Units) made the statement about the claim.

According to the information received by BBC Persian, security officials of the Kurdistan province of Iran, confirmed the attack but stated that there are no casualties.

In YRK's statement, it was noted that PJAK's attack was retaliation against Iran's Revolutionary Guards' recent operations which violated the de-facto cease fire..

PJAK which is associated with the KCK (Group of Communities in Kurdistan), the umbrella organization for armed terrorist groups of PKK and PYD, had ended all armed operations unilaterally and had declared a cease-fire between both parties in 2011, but the Revolutionary Guards has stated that the conditions of the cease-fire were "vague" and insufficient.

Earlier this week, PJAK's military wing YRK had claimed that it had killed the commander of Revolutionary Guards along with 12 other Iranian soldiers in the province of Kermanshah which is heavily populated by Kurds. Yet, the news was not officially confirmed.

Iranian Kurdish Party says killed 12 Revolutionary Guards in attack

Iranian media claims only five Guards were killed in the attack

Kurdish fighters affiliated with the Party of Free Life of Kurdistan (PJA K), an Iranian offshoot of the PKK in western Iran, announced on Thursday that it killed 12 Iranian Revolutionary Guards.

The attack targeted a Revolutionary Guards barracks near the Kurdish city of Sanandaj in western Iran, according to a Sky News Arabic report.

Iranian state news agency IRNA claimed that only five Revolutionary Guards members were killed in the PJA K attack.

The Kurdish Party said the attack was in response to the execution of a Kurdish political activist a few days ago by Iranian authorities. The group said attacks would continue as long as the country continued its violence against the Kurds.

The Kurdish force thwarted an Iranian intelligence plot on Wednesday to blow up its headquarters using four large bombs, while dozens of its members were present.

PJA K cadres discovered the bombs before they exploded, according to the London-based dailyAsharq al-Awsat on Thursday.

Rudaw, the Kurdish media network, cited Iranian media last month who quoted Iranian Revolutionary Guard commander Mohammad Hussain Rajabi calling for more security in its Kurdish province.

“This province shares 230 km. [of border] with the Kurdistan region of Iraq. [They are] vibrant areas that are mainly mountainous and wild, [and have] a harsh nature,” Rajabi said.

This second news is false too. Only 5 Iranians became martyred.

@Serpentine

Change the title of this thread to 5.

RIP

These terrorists are getting bolder in their claims. If one had to believe them, then by now they've killed 10 million IRGC members

Not a single picture is ever shown with these claims showing even one dead body.
I don't blame them. They're currently getting slaughtered so they have to come up with something to fool their supporters.

@Al-Kurdi Yesterday one of those tagged you here, glad that you heard their call

Again, lies by PJAK apes, which is the only thing they know. This news is officially denied.

But, these brave warriors, managed to sneak up in mountains by night, like the cowards they are, and kill 5 rookie Basij forces who were caught off guard.

We will, eventually, make PJAK beg for ceasefire again, like they did in 2011.

Thread closed as the news is denied and the source is a terrorist group.
