It's nice to see the traditional architecture styles are back to fashion again in countryside. I remember there was a set of stamps with different styles residential houses back in 1980's. Each province had one. Beijing was "siheyuan" courtyard. It's face value was 8 cents. At that time it was the standard charge for a regular letter. So we saw it often. Later the charge increased to 20c and it was Shanghai's "lilong" townhouse.

Do you like stamp collecting? Now the country has begun to plan for rural areas, from planning and design to construction. Therefore, there will be more and more Chinese-style buildings in rural China in the future.

I don't collect them but I liked this series of traditional houses.
