It's nice to see the traditional architecture styles are back to fashion again in countryside. I remember there was a set of stamps with different styles residential houses back in 1980's. Each province had one. Beijing was "siheyuan" courtyard. It's face value was 8 cents. At that time it was the standard charge for a regular letter. So we saw it often. Later the charge increased to 20c and it was Shanghai's "lilong" townhouse.
