The incident occurred in the Indian state of Punjab. Two puppies fell into a well. Their mother ran near the well and started barking, and attracted the attention of the owner, who looked inside and to his surprise there was a king cobra at the bottom, which didn't pose any threat to the puppies. Moreover, the reptile, looked after the puppies, by not allowing them to cross to the other side, where they could possibly drown, when the well is filled with water.

In general, they spent around 48 hours together at the bottom and in these 48 hours the cobra sat quietly next to them. When help finally arrived from the forest department, the cobra slithered to the other end of the well. The puppies were not injured at all and the reptile was immediately taken into the woods and was released into the wild.

Even the most deadly and dangerous creatures on earth know what Co-existence and mutual assistance is. The human race is in this respect far behind, and this is our biggest drawback.

Your post does not explain why the King Cobra eats its own kind and how the NATO alliance was formed. lol. You see as far as the story goes, its charming. Puppies fall in, cobra doesn't eat them, pictures are taken, everybody goes home with a fuzzy feeling in their heart. But the conclusion to your post is slanderous to the most successful specimen of the hominidae - the heirs to the throne of Earth - the homo sapiens - us! The greatness of our empires and the expanse of our cities would not be possible if we trailed behind the cobra in aspects of reliance, inter-dependency, trust and co-existence. As a matter of fact our innovation, foresight and intuition evinced by the sprawling metropolises we construct and the prolific feats of engineering we are capable of bear testimony to our abilities of cooperation and mutual existence, and are the very traits by which we have come to reign over all other creatures on this planet.

Alone we are but weak humans whose immune systems are not trained to withstand the rigors of the bacterial and viral onslaughts of the wild, but collectively we develop cures and construct hospitals to help those in greater need than those less fortunate amongst us. Alone we are flesh and bone, incapable of defending against the claws and teeth of wild beasts, but collectively we build walls and weaponry and rotate night shifts, where need be, so that the slumber of our women and children lies unperturbed. Alone we are at the mercy of nature and the tumultuous storms she sends our way, but together we build storm shelters, early warning systems, evacuation plans and share this information freely amongst ourselves so that it may benefit affectees where and when necessary.

We are the Humans of Earth. We have differences, we falter and we fight but when calamity threatens us a race, we unite our efforts and help each other through thick and through thin. Our indelible contribution to the history of this planet is a witness to the greatness we mutually inspire and the resolve and optimism with which we surmount all the odds that are stacked against us. We do not need to learn social cooperation from the cobra, be reminded...maybe, but not learn because we are the pioneers of co-existence and together we sail the seas, till the lands and rule the skies.

Cute story though.

This guy reading the newspaper on the subway is Keanu Reeves.

He is from a problematic family. His father was arrested when he was 12 for drug dealing and his mother was a stripper. His family moved to Canada and there he had several step dads.

He watched his girlfriend die. They were about to get married, and she died in a car accident. And also before that she had lost her baby. Since then Keanu avoids serious relationships and having kids.

He's one of the only Hollywood stars without a Mansion. He said: 'I live in a flat, I have everything that I need at anytime, why choose an empty house?'

One of his best friends died by overdose, he was River Phoenix (Joaquin Phoenix's brother). Almost in the same year Keanu's father was arrested again.

His younger sister had leukemia. Today she is cured, and he donated 70% of his gains from the movie Matrix to Hospitals that treat leukemia.

In one of his birthdays, he got to a little candy shop and bought him a cake, and started eating alone. If a fan walked by he would talk to them and offer some of the cake.

He doesn't have bodyguards, and he doesn't wear fancy clothes.

When they asked him about 'Sad Keanu', he replied: 'You need to be happy to live, I don't.'"

Great man
