The Priest did the Right Thing! He showed Humanity and Kindness.

What Hitler did was WRONG and Dark.... not Priest's Fault that the child later become the Head of Nazis...

It is the Idealogy which corrupts...

Same way Modi is one man... same as Hitler...but it is Organisation and Business behind RSS which makes it another Nazi party and Modi the Hitler of the East.

Naturally, my friend, neither one is at fault at this stage, the Priest being a Gods man only performed his duty as would any decent human while a four-year-old child is oblivious to the fact whether he's black or white, what faith he practices and if he will grow up to become a savior or executioner.
