Ghouri sahab is trying to pull a fast one on us. Either that picture is photoshopped or that photographer is a giant.

Also the Indus doesn't flow through the Gilgit Valley. That picture shows the Diamir Valley with Nangaparbat in the background. A good few hours south of Gilgit.
