Don't tell me binoculors were more effective than Spy sats, UAVs, Mossads double agents, etc.

On the news I saw some armor get hit hit while crossing some narrow corridor across a hill. Shouldn't something stupid like that not be done till the ground troops have secured enough area to allow the tanks to cross?

In a nutshell, find the enemy. Blind the enemy. Screening forces move up to find the enemy and upon finding the enemy, direct fire or deny position for the enemy to observe how your main forces are moving up to battle.

And no 5 inch camera even just 500 feet high is going to replace a pair of eyes on the ground.

I am sure the destroying of these tanks which on many forum was rated very highly will be analysed in detail by many a military.

The circumstances in which they were hit will also be material i.e. human error or technical weakness.

Now bearing this in mind take a look at the front of the Arjun and compare it to the Challenger. It was another thing that I spotted in the video someone posted recently.

I think the Bakhter would be more than adequate to handle any threats it may face.
