These pics were snapped at RAF BRIZE NORTON, UK (close to my home town annoyingly)- home of the RAF's C-17 fleet (you can see one such example in the background). This is the 5th IAF C-17 and the final delivery of 2013. The remaining 5 will be delivered in 2014.



These Yanks and their delivery schedules- they're coming thick and fast now- just the other day the IN received their third P-8I.

right from C 130J to P 8I and now C-17, US firms have demonstrated a FEDEXesque delivery, something that would make New Delhi very happy indeed.
Massive addition to IAFs heavy lift capability.

Just for their impeccable delivery schedule, one feels like rewarding them with a bigger order. They deliver multimillion dollar behemoths the same way they deliver burgers at mcdonald's - you order what you want, pay the money, wait for your turn and beep - the product comes out of the line in time with precision. With any other defence purchase (not just from Russia, mind you - where are our scorpenes and Barak-8s?), you should also hire an astrologer to help you predict delivery schedules, not to mention cost overruns.

I suppose APACHE deal is soon going to be signed and not to mention follow up orders for the behemoths and P 8Is. Boeing no doubt has made many a Fans with a fantastic delivery schedule.
