PIA website messed up ... and I thought they were improving things...

So I wanted to make a booking and thought lets give our old lil PIA a try.
Went to the website, and turns out the Select your destination drop downs are messed up and keep returning "No results found" no matter what your input is.

Hence, no one is able to make any selections.

Thought lets give them some feedback so hopefully they can fix it before losing to much business.
Filled up a "Customer care" form an tried to submit and error "This resource is forbidden".

Now writing an email to their feedback shit.
I'm sure they are supposed to fix their economic problems with just this kind of stuff going on and an inept web management team...

You might be using something like cell phone or some old browser to cause that problem

PIA spent 100's of millions of dollars buying this reservation system from Saber group. That's the level of corruption which destroyed PIA. Really sad how they plundered otherwise, they should have hired a team of local IT experts who could develop the same system at a fraction of the cost and also maintain it

Just checked, it`s working absolutely fine for me, that too using Internet Edge. Ever considered that it is a problem on your end, maybe? Try using different browser, could be the browser or some plugins.

Gey PIA's website is pretty nice ... the interface is really nice like any other major airline... I just visited it and I was pleasantly surprised.

uses AJAX service (Javascript talking to web server) - you may have spotty internet service or bad connection.

Booked two separate flights on two different days last week, Worked fine for me.
I liked their older version where you see the schedule by week and select the flight that suits you, now in the current version you have to provide a specific date and many times there is no flight on that day so you have to fill in all the details again or open the schedule in a different tab to look up the flight and then enter the date on the first tab. But I like the sign in with FF number, previously you had to provide the number in the end.

I'm not using either of that.
Turns out it doesn't work when you're using a VPN for online privacy.
That still doesn't mean its fine because I'm not the only one on VPN...

Yeah I bet 50mbps here in Dubai must be bad and spotty ...

AJAX fails when the server you are pinging to believes:
1) you are not connected or spotty connection (so fails in response object delivery)
2) if your IP changes mid way (happens when you use VPN) - because ajax is trying to deliver to the previous IP.
