PIA flight targeted with laser light

QUETTA- A PIA airliner was targeted with laser light when it was landing at Quetta Airport today. It is said that the terrorists are using laser technology to target Pakistani airliners.
According to our sources, the pilot of PIA flight PK-254 reported the control room about a burst of laser light at the airliner, when the flight from Mashhad was landing at Quetta Airport. The airliner remained safe in the incident.
The law enforcement agencies launched a search operation at airport and its adjoining areas after the pilot’s report. The flight was allowed to move ahead to Lahore after the area was declared ‘clear’ by the law enforcement agencies.
