Philippines, Japan sign deals on ODA 6 projects worth P 8.4 Biillion

And with the recent news about many places including Makati and Taguig are built over the fault line (estimated P2 trillion worth of economic money goes bye-bye if something happens), it is time to diversify as Visayas and Mindanao has more potential.

That can be overcome, buddy. I don't know if the Philippines already invests on earthquake-proof building materiel and design (most probably) but these should prove to be useful in any exigency. I've personally seen some of the foundations built in Cebu's Provinces' Mandaue City firms that are financed by Japanese Firms. They are designed and built in such a way that is identical to Japan's. If this provides a visage of the development of Philippines' other cities , then its safe to assume that Manila , Makati and Quezon are also donned with the same strategies.

Well i agree about diversify being a province guy we should clean everything first before thinking about building economic centers like makati or taguig in other places like starting on the different capitals of the provinces like bacolod or Iloilo or cebu and mactan or kalibo and puerto princesa etc places were conflict is low or nonexistent then replicate this by continuing cleaning the areas of rebel activities and urban planing non stop like 1st phase 2nd phase after 10 to 20 years ahead so developments and preservation goes hand and hand unlike here in Manila which is a waste a real sad waste everyone just wasted old manila i feel sorry for the historical sites the conditions of buildings and roads etc on those areas like escolta parts of intramoros and liwasang bonifacio man unsafe especially the underpasses and the metropolitan theater man that building seen better days. If they planed manila like it should and this also goes for the rest of metro manila especially QC metro manila would been a great capital.

1. State cohesion can be facilitated with reduction in poverty , especially in some southern parts of Mindanao, and northern parts of Luzon. State cohesion can be further facilitated with educational programs for under-developed communities, especially in under-performing barangays.

2. Poverty reduction is positively associated with reduction in militancy. Most of the participants of NPA activities in Panay Island and Northern Luzon have been associated with those who are underpaid farmers, outliers in low paying professions, uneducated individuals who lack secondary education or collegiate education.

3. Infrastructure development is a great tool to facilitate integration , but should not be the sole strategic tool. Infrastructure development + job creation should be the proper strategy. The country can achieve this by allocating funds to develop industry, market in under-developed regions of the Philippines instead of centering it solely on Manila and the Greater Manila Region.

  • We have seen how development of outlying cities have produced development of the interior provinces. Case in point: Cagayan De Oro, Tagbilaran, Cebu City, Mandaue, Car Car City, Iloilo City, Dumangas, Bacolod, Santa Barbara, San Carlos, Davao, General Santos, Butuan City, Maasin.

Will P 8.4 buy me half a burrito and two baluts? I will pay back a bag of rice in interest.

Just kidding. Maybe. Perhaps if the Philippines develops more and stops being such a crime-ridden pit of misery they will start treating their minorities better and actually follow international rules.

The Philippines does have buildings and houses that can stand earthquakes only beyond magnitude 4 beyond that god only knows but most can't because most do not even follow the building code for staters as for earthquake-proof building materiel from anywhere no idea about it but its nice to know we have so sources

Well we are already doing that and to the second point good luck we need to clean the state universities for that and the thrid part we been doing that for years but in slow phase its hard to go island hopping especially in Visayas its a bit easy in Luzon and Northern Mindanao and a lot harder in Southern Mindanao for obvious reasons.
Hey i love to see my country develop i mean wh doesnt but the the stituation is just this we are slowing developing and time is our enemy along with almost everyone else even our own people who are the very reason why this country wasted every time and potential it had a true shame but its never too late to start and the good news is we filipinos have finally started but its slow and its still more political we call all thank the old guard for that man those old f@rts need to go but going back we starting to move forward so thats good enough just hoping for the best.

Thanks for the inputs you guys are one of the few foreign forces that helps unlike the imperials chincoms and some off our so called ASEAN brothers.
