I think they will say OK, because it conforms to International law of the Sea which they have approved...
You mean the other 4 claimants Brunei, Malaysia, Taiwan and China gave Vietnam and Philippines the right to patrol Spratly Islands? What's the International Law Of Sea you are talking about? Don't forget there are 6 parties in dispute on SCS.

Yes there are , but I don't see any problems with 2 nations combining their forces to conduct such patrols ...
VPN and PN was present there before, now they patrol together, why not OK?
See on the map the islands of Northeast Cay and Southwest Cay (Song Tử Đông, Song Tử Tây), the Spratly Islands:
Very bravo statement.
The other 3 countries, Taiwan, Brunei and Malaysia have been quiet about the disputes. Perhaps they are giving China the consent to represent them?
It will be interesting to see what happen when your patrols meet head on with the Chinese patrol.
By looking at the map closely it seems Vietnam occupies most of the shoals, and yet she is still not satisfied. Is she protesting for the ownership of all the shoals?
I counted 23 Vietnamese flags there. that means she has more real estates than all the other 5 combined.
Conclusions. Vietnam 23 Philippines 9 China 7 Malaysia 7 Taiwan 2 Brunei 0 Who is/are the aggressors here. It is plainly obvious.
LOL VCP knows it can't get too close to Philippines without a colored revolution from USA. Some VCP may be okay with a colored revolution as long as they can get corrupt wealth, but some reject this. So, Philippines / Vietnam cooperation is not likely.Where did you based your statement or opinion above ...
There is only one true island in the Spratlys, Taiping Island, controlled by China (ROC) since 1945. Everything else is just reefs and strategically irrelevant.By looking at the map closely it seems Vietnam occupies most of the shoals, and yet she is still not satisfied. Wrong.
Not 23, it is 28.
Vietnam and Malaysia submitted the map EEZs between the two countries to the UN. It is OK.
Vietnam and the Philippines together joint patrols in the East Sea (West Philippines Sea). It is OK.
Vietnam and Brunei do not have any dispute. It is OK
China did not have any stock until 1988, you used force to rob some reef from Vietnam's.
Who is/are the aggressors here? No one else, it is your China.
^ LOL nice VCP propaganda. Families living on an island without fresh water!
We can take back those reefs any time we want, Vietnam is too weak. Send our air force there and blast the **** out of them.
