Hey what's a great way to help placate the community and lower serious crime rates...why simply raise the theft minimum of a felony from $200 to $2,000! So now under $2,000 is a misdemeanor.

Problem solved with a stroke of the pen..pure genius..the serious crime rate is now magically down..what could go wrong!

I shared video of Bill Maher as he has raised this issue in California many times. The laws are worst in California. Its illegal even for security guards to stop shoplifters so they stand by and watch.

Basically trying to figure out why the supermarkets closed in her neighborhood but not in others.

The answer is likely that theft was so rampant the store could not afford to stay there...and the reason theft was probably so rampant is the Liberal mayor/governor basically decriminalized it.

Why did they decriminalize it? Because if you have a felony conviction for major theft many employers won't hire you (gee I wonder why... ). So to quickly solve that "obviously racist policy" Liberal politicians just raised the major theft definition to anything above $2000 instead of $200 so fewer people would be subject to potential employment ruining felony convictions (of course without thinking out what the possible ramifications of this could cause).

That whole video is just a big game of playing the "innocent clueless reporter/customer" who honestly has no idea why stores have left certain neighborhoods.

They are saying there is untapped potential in these neighborhoods. As if stores aren't businesses who are interested in making money.
