interesting figures

second graph shows china's favorability is declining in every country except a handful with every passing year

in the third graph its only india and s.korea which a highest enemy percentage(i mean more than good and neither)

all the graphes show pakistan is the most relaible partner of china

china has a good image in kenya and nigeria also

though the favourability of china in u.s is only 49% but it is increasing every yr but it the opposite in russia

. . .
I belive had they put in North Korea, the results would have been similar to Pakistan.

That would also explain the results from South Korea, Japan and India.

.
Pakistan's stats is as good as a china friendly country can get.

The remaining three percent probably contains extremists that would be unfriendly to other countries in an unspecific way

.
India ranks high  for No China policy :what: a lot of mending of relations between India and China to move forward.

And thanks for posting such an informative article :toast_sign:

The declining favorability is present in just about all Western and nearby Asian nations. I don't think China has done things that much differently, so it's likely that those countries are increasingly finding China as a threat, rather than just a land of cheap labor where they can make money with.

BTW, check out some of the other pages in the report, there are some pretty interesting figures pertaining to China/****/India, like:

Indians, for some reason, are the most likely to think that the U.S. considers their interests when the U.S. makes decisions:

Chinese optimism for its country's direction is absolutely unmatched. I'm sure government propaganda helped a lot too, though the Russians don't share the same trait. As I've always argued, the Chinese people don't care that much about political freedom, it's all about money...:

...and the money is good(at least the Chinese ppl think so):

India and China embrace capitalism/trading the most of all countries, and why not? Both are benefiting aplenty:

China's perception as the leading economic power is growing by leaps and bounds....except ironically in China, India, and Pakistan. And Argentina too, but nobody cares about them. Also of interest is the fact that of the relevant countries, India by far has the lowest perception of China's economy:

Pakistanis and Turks are the staunches opponents of suicide bombings of the Muslim countries:

Surprisingly, the Chinese people are the most willing to do something about environmental problems. The Chinese government doesn't seem like they think so:

Again, surprisingly, Indians, of all people, are the most open to the use of force. Kind of weird given the pacifist nature of the Hindu religion:

^^^ I'm going to assume that an even poll is taken across the chinese population (not just those in rich cities) but things are looking good and the people are optimistic which is good.

. . .
Sir, Hinduism is as violent as anything can get. It does not have a peace image.

China under CPC dictator is a real threat to the world it will be better if the world realize it soon.

The world is leaning but we have to do our bit diplomatically, politically and with the use of media, NGOs etc. to convey this message all over to alert the world.

better refrain urself from attacking other's religion,it only reflect upbringing, and still u canot stop that urge than better dont complain about hindus and indian's racial mindset when they go berserk over hans chinese

.
Justin, you're naive. A rise of military power in any state is a threat to another. India is as much of a threat as China, as public opinion means naught under martial law.

It appears that countries with confidence for its military tend to favor military action. It must take an awfully strong military for some people to be significantly more confident than even the Americans...
