ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Friday notified a substantial reduction in the prices of petroleum products for the next fifteen days (June 16-31), Geo News reported.

According to Ogra notification, the petrol, with a decrease of Rs10.46, will now be available at Rs89.51/litre.



Diesel, after a decrease of Rs6.8 will be sold at Rs99.69/litre. On the other hand, to buy a litre of light diesel oil, consumers will pay Rs86.57 as it has seen a reduction of Rs5.2 in its price.



Kerosene oil, the price of which was revised down by Rs5.26, will be retailed at Rs88.79/ litre for the next fortnight.



The price of High Octane Blending Component (HOBC) has been cut down by Rs11.75, which means the end-buyers will now be able to get it for Rs113.32/litre at all the outlets.



Last but not the least, the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) for Region I (Potohar‚ Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa and Balochistan) is down by Rs4.82 a kilogram and for Region II (Central Punjab and Sindh) Rs4.8 per kilogram.

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) on Thursday issued a notification of reduction in the prices of petroleum products from Rs4 to Rs13.24 per litre. The new price list will be implemented from June 1 to 15.



According to the Ogra notification, it was recommended to the Finance Ministry to reduce the POL prices in line with the reduction of crude oil price in the international market.The reduction announced in POL prices is: Rs13.24 per litre in High Octane Blend Component (HOBC), Rs3.39 per litre in petrol, Rs1.23 per litre in High Speed Diesel (HSD), Rs5.84 per litre in Light Diesel Oil (LDO) and Rs5.90 per litre in Kerosene Oil. The reduction of Rs3 per kilogramme in CNG has also been notified.
