ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Friday notified a substantial reduction in the prices of petroleum products for the next fifteen days (June 16-31), Geo News reported.
According to Ogra notification, the petrol, with a decrease of Rs10.46, will now be available at Rs89.51/litre.
Diesel, after a decrease of Rs6.8 will be sold at Rs99.69/litre. On the other hand, to buy a litre of light diesel oil, consumers will pay Rs86.57 as it has seen a reduction of Rs5.2 in its price.
Kerosene oil, the price of which was revised down by Rs5.26, will be retailed at Rs88.79/ litre for the next fortnight.
The price of High Octane Blending Component (HOBC) has been cut down by Rs11.75, which means the end-buyers will now be able to get it for Rs113.32/litre at all the outlets.
Last but not the least, the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) for Region I (Potohar Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa and Balochistan) is down by Rs4.82 a kilogram and for Region II (Central Punjab and Sindh) Rs4.8 per kilogram.
