PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Various trade organizations in Peshawar staged protest against the last week’s unprovoked firing by Afghan forces at Torkham border, Dunya News reported on Monday.

The demonstrators raised slogans against the Afghan government in front of Peshawar Press Club.

I don't know how chanting death to afghanistan will help considering the situation it is in right now :D. There are rarely any protests against Afghanistan because usually Pakistan is the aggressor and afghanistan ends up with lots of casualties so there are no protests here in regards to you guys .

So you accept that Pakistan has been the aggressor ? ;)

Show some $ to Afghanistani forces officials on border and they will do what you want.
Very easy to use them.

We can't burn your flag, anyone doing that can easily be booked under blasphemy law as you have Kalma written over your flag, clever, clever you.

Anyway, I am angry about Afghan firing on the border as the next man but we need to control our anger, fueling that with protests and stuff will only help the cause of the Afghan establishment.

It is my belief that Afghan establishment whether by their own design or at the behest of someone else is trying to unite their nation by creating a boogie man out of Pakistan. Boogie mans are perfect for uniting a nation, Communism was the boogie man for the west for so long, and now its Radical Islam. For us it has always been our brotherly neighbor India, and it has worked for us quite well.

And now Afghans got us.

We should not fall in this trap and try to convince the Afghan public that we are their well-wishers.

In 2001, Bangladeshis killed about 19 Indian soldiers in a clash, could have cut its ties or pushed back all the Bangladeshis in its country or even bombed the shit of Bangladesh but it did not. Today Bangladesh is India's best pal in the south asia.

So we really need to be cautious here, while at the same time keep working on improving the border management.

In border skirmishes around 300 ANA soldiers have died against 30 of ours . So yeah That pretty much tells the story .

@A-Team, yes, this sad day has come. The Afghans may again have woken a people in deep slumber.

The burning of Pakistani flags, beating of Pakistanis, calling Pakistanis: smelly, daal-khor, munafiq. Using the calculus of "Interest" seems to have finally come around.

I wonder if the Afghans are now satisfied? As I said in an earlier post -- the sad and dark irony of it all was that the Afghans killed a Pakistani Major who's father had fought for the rights of Afghan refugees. I think that summed up the events of the last unfortunate few days.

Now there is talk to taking on Pakistan after the British and USSR in Afghanistan -- the Afghans will take on a people who host 10% of their compatriots find refuge?

I fear, Afghan insanity is about to unleash Pakistani insanity -- run when a man in slumber awakes

.
While I have always doubted the credibility of claims that the refugees have been involved with a large amount of crime and terrorism, just from an economic point of view, they've become a financial burden on Pakistan.

Pakistan needs to bring back its refugees from Afghanistan, and deal with the Afghan refugees within its borders.
