Rocket attack near Peshawar airport kills at least two

PESHAWAR: At least two people were killed and dozens sustained injuries in Peshawar when at least three rockets, fired from unknown location, landed near the city’s airport, DawnNews reported.

Initial reports suggest that two rockets were landed near the airport while the third landed on Bara Road.

There are reports of counter aerial firing from the Airport Security Forces (ASF) and the law enforcing agencies have blocked the roads around the airport.

The incident has spread fear among the residents.

An emergency has been imposed and the agencies have sealed the airport.

This is a developing story and will be updated as reports come in.

The airport isn't hit... A depot has been hit with rockets near the airport area... the news of Suicide bomber at the gate isn't confirmed yet. A car has also hit the wall of the Airport - may be the driver lose control off the vehicle in fear of the blasts.

3-Terrorist have been killed so far - their dead bodies are inside the airport.
