They only need Taliban and East Turkmenistan separatist groups who have sanctuaries in Afghanistan.

For India, Islamic Radicalism is a worry since rise of Radicalism in Afghanistan will have consequences in Kashmir so India has to make some pacts with USA. Check mating India here.

Karzai is old player, he knows US is not here to leave, at-least for another 10 year, until Pakistan is even weaker.
So, If Karzai tell US, that he want the crown of queen elizabeth, in exchange of deal, US will accept it happily or some Taliban would kill him.

Pakistani tax payers have paid 10 years of transit aid to US.
In return US bribed its politicians in the cover of coalition support fund (re-reimbursement of war expenses being a non NATO allied state)
Pakistan has been destroyed completely, in last 5 years by corrupt politicians and judges.

2) Russia already stated that any post 2014 settlement/troops stay/scope has to be vetted by new UNSC resolution where they have veto power.

Any unilateral push, specially without Pakistan blessing doomed to fail. This is where Pakistan, Iran, China and Russia can cooperate as neighbors and regional players and safeguard their interests. And keep out external trouble makers play which had caused utter destruction over last 4 decades.

I hate when people think that aid to Iran puppet Afghan regime will not be served to NATO.
Same mistake, Imran Khan is committing by letting trucks which are not carrying weapons.
Transit does not traslate to shipping of wepons alone.... it means complete halt of all sort of all sort of supplies.

I have once posted research paper of one Phd of strategic studies from Quaid e azam university about the transit routes to Afghanistan, where it was proven that Iran is equally big route.

That is where Pakistan can take initiative so that post Karzai regime is according to Pakistan choice but also has level of acceptability from Iran. That is where Pakistan can maximize its strategic and economic influence and benefit. Either/or thinking has little choice now a days. On that note, Pakistan needs to go after actors who are instigating and provoking attack against Shias. Enemies (and even some disguised ally) of Pakistan knows that maximum benefit point and instigating trouble for Pakistan.
