PC inaugurates composite structure for NSG commandos

New Delhi, April 18:
A special accommodation structure for the counter-hijack commando unit of the NSG was on Wednesday inaugurated by Union Home Minister P Chidambaram near the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport here.

The structure at the NSG camp, at Samalkha near the IGI airport, will house 540 commandos of the Special Action Group (SAG) tasked to undertake counter-hijack operations at the airport.

The four-story structure will be created at the cost of Rs 47 crore and will have residential, operational and training infrastructure facilities for the 'black cat' commandos of the National Security Guard (NSG).

During the event, NSG chief RK Medhekar briefed Chidambaram and Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit about the facilities at the camp.

The structure is expected to be complete within 18 months.

These are NSG guys only and these pics are from a documentary on NSG by NDTV...what was your guess btw?

Thank YOU for the advice. It was much needed.
BTW I was talking about the guies in watch tower. Those two look more SF definately not NSG. If I am not wrong that pic is from Banglore cricket match. There is big thread on special forces (all ) @ BR

Ya it looks like parade venue. Thanks for that. I have seen similar images. Will try to post them. It says they are SF army not NSG.

Yeah post them in Indian Army and Special Forces thread.As far as i know the NSG sniper teams were deployed in Republic day parade and IA SFs were not having any sniper teams in republic day parade.

Well as far as I am concerned these guys are NSG sniper team deployed at republic day. NSG are the go-to force for such occasions (barring SPG when PM is involved) and it is VERY unsual for military SOFs to be involved in such duties (domestically that is).

More pics just to confirm of NSG at Republic day 2012, and btw NSG are the only force in India that use the SIG-552 commando as seen in the pic with the triple magazine clip:
