when you hoist a flag it mean that you leave after hoisting the flag and when you come back the next morning flag is still there...or it means that you hold the flag with your hand and when people wake up next morning you are still standing alive....hoisting a flag does not mean hiding it under your jackets and opening you jacket for the camra to show the flag hoisting LOL.
