PTV shouldn't have been given this responsibility, they ruined the parade really.

What else do you expect from secular budmuaash running PTV.Not once the poster picture of ALLAMA IQBAL(ra) was
exposed.

Lets ''suppose'' that PTV has good cameras and they show 1080 result.
But what will we do with bull s*** attitude of Camera men?
Audience completely missed T80 UD as well as A100 ..... all that time Camera was showing ''bothi sharif'' of president and PM
Also Camera man failed to synchronize the air show ............ poor zooming........... poor judgement .............

I wish someone had climbed up Margala hills and from there recorded Video of Flypast. Would have been excellent vantage point.

Pakistan is probably one of few countries without any HD channel, and world is already moving towards 4K. Pathetic!

The quality of cameras was very poor.

They have tens of million dollar equipments on display both in air and on the ground, why can't they mount a camera on a chopper and have it covering the event specially the flypast. They did that some years back when some film stars and singers visited and performed for soldiers stationed in the Siachin region.

But problem is that they too have Tata Sky and Dish TV, which broadcast mainly Indian channels with the exception of a single channel broadcasting pakistani shows.

Hence you see many pakistanis able to compare DD footage of Republic day with PTV footage of Today

We do? That's news to most of us here....We do have the PTCL Smart TV though. Most of us get cable from different cable SPs.

On topic:

None of the other Pakistani channels were allowed to cover the parade. They were all broadcasting the coverage from PTV. Ironically the quality on some of the other channels was actually better than on PTV.
