Even if I were to give you the benefit of the doubt that your friends are indeed real, I have several Pakistani co-workers who admit that Pakistan is a basket case. One of them is from Karachi and he does not even go on a vacation to Pakistan because he is worried that kids might get blown up anytime if they go there. He even laments how his distant relatives who lived in India are having better lives. Surely, even your Indian friend isn't going to argue with that, is she?

I was once witness to an argument between some of them over who was the greatest Pakistani and most had nothing good to say about Zia. One guy however said Jinnah will be in hell because he drank alcohol and ate pork. How's that for hating your leaders?

He was simply outed when he said a girl from Pondicherry (which he spelt wrong btw), complained about India.
