Imran and Tareen disqualification pleas: Arguments on Dec 19

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday fixed December 19 for arguments on the petitions seeking disqualification of PTI chief Imran Khan and the party’s senior leader Jahangir Tareen as members of the parliament.

The disqualification petitions against Imran Khan and Tareen have been filed in the commission by Shahnawaz Dhillon, Malik Khalil Ahmed and Bilal Mustafa Bhutta respectively.

During the hearing, the ECP fixed the date of December 19 for arguments over the petitions.

The lawyers of Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen objected over approving the petitions for hearing.

Imran Khan in his reply submitted in the ECP on Monday had rejected all accusations mentioned in the reference.

The lawyers of both politicians said that the references filed against their clients were baseless and beyond the legal framework.

When Naeem bukhari said abt article 62,63 while concluding his arguments tht PM is not sadiq ameen anymore...then our dear chief justice said..
Tht under article 184, can we even hear this case of public interest on basis of 62,63? Waah waah... The whole basis for Nawaz sharifs disqualificarion comes from article 62,63 and CJ is saying ke woh tu hum is case main sun hi nahi saktay... Waah waah... And it seems they are moving twards forming judicial comission...

And Chief justce even remarked..tht can we even hear the case on 62,63...in public interest case? What does tht mean? Jis basis par Nawaz Sharif ki disqualification hosakti hai..us basis ko hi Supreme court khatam karna chah rahi hai?

And Supreme court it seems..is moving towards forming a judicial commission...they even remarked tht today, and is not interested in taking this case forward on 62,63

If they act unjustly despite having all the facts and evidences, then the country will move towards the bloody revolution similar to French revolution and these disgraceful judges will be the first victim...The justice will be done but on streets and with swords and guns...an aweful but necessary outcome.

Justice Khosa said after accepting the ownership of flats it's on Shareef family now to provide money trails for the purchase of flats !!
the court is adjourned till tomorrow !!

It seems judges are not ready to accept any proofs /arguments against sharif family.. Dunya ka koi bhi saboot le aaye..judges will say..it is not THOS SABOOT...aur jis basis par Ns ki disqualification hosakti hial.usay judges maannay ko tayyar hi nahi

in this i agree with honorable judges, ECP is forum for such disqualification. Judges also said that in Yousaf Raza Gillani's case, the then PM was first convicted than was disqualified. If money laundering is proved against Shareefs thn NS can be disqualified. Disqualification under article 62, 63 is a matter of ECP

I Still believe Sheikh Rasheed Case is Simple & Very comprehensive with a Logic, If you can disqualify 12 MPA & MNA only because of Mis Declaration/ hiding their assets & not declaring it with ECP, NS has done the same, Why can't he...
The point remains if Article 62/63 can be applicable in a case with Public Interest involved... Judges think otherwise..

But someone should give refrences of judgements from Islamic history too, in front of judges...and Sheikh Rashid could do tht........Plus should conclude the arguments by tht famous hadith..which said tht tum se pehli qoumein isi liye barbaad huein..ke woh taqatwar ko chor deto theen..arguments should end on tht hadith...shayad judges par koi asar hojaye...
