Nawaz Sharif and PMLN are seasoned politicians and know their trade very well. With public support still reasonably high for Nawaz Sharif any drastic measure by any institution can only help him.

If he opts to bow out respectfully and resign he would still be counted as a 'prominent' leader in Pakistan's history. I always wish him well even though the opinion is largely split in my circle about him.

Let's see if Pinky's husband bow out peacefully as well because he has major issues coming towards him in the near future and do not be surprised if Hussain Haqqani writes another of his article.

Doosri baat ye hai ke PTI Chairman NAB ke against reference judicial council main le gayi hain, wahan CJ bhi hain, aur Justice Khosa aur advocate bhi.. Aap ko lagta hai..ke wahan Advocate Chairman NAB ko bachaa paayein ge? Aur CJ. Ka kia hoga? Justice Khosa ke baaray main tu hum keh saktay hain ke woh Chairman NAB ke against hi jaaayein ge. Woh tu keh rahay thay ke main khud refernece is liye nahi file karraha..because of jurisdiction issues..warna woh khud hi kar dete...

I dont see any major threat and that too in the near future for both pinky's husband as well as nawaz sharif, this JIT is going to be a dead horse nothing more than that, i have heard on TV that to avoid timely completion of JIT report, Nawaz have planned more than 6 foreign visits in next few months.

He is not legally obliged to be present in person.
As far as Pinky's Mithun Chakarvardy is concerned, we have reached a point of no return with him. His stubbornness needs a reality check but I guess Iran still holds a major pull in Pakistani politics.
Inshallah things will move at a hasty pace in the coming weeks.

Pakistan want peace with India as per policy of Jinnah.
Kashmir is bilateral issue where only Kashmiris can decide their own fate. No point in forcing the issue as it will only be a matter of time.
He is Prime Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, terrorists like Kulbushan are not in his league.
Kargil is a sensitive issue where silence has been our policy just like Bangladesh.

I will not respond to the traitor jibe since such allegations are pointless and useless. My answer to you is 'Allah is the best schemer'.

Also..i was just thinking right now..tht do majority judges know the implications of saying..tht 62/63 deals with only legal dishonesty and not moral dishonesty? Kia unhein andza bhi hai..ke unhon ne kiya likh diya hai? Do they think being morally dishonest is..OK for a PM??? If this is the case..they should have given parameters for normal ppl also, who come in courts to give statement..tht under what conditins..them gving false statements in courts is OK????... These 3 judges' opinion should mean tht legal cover should be provided to other ppl also, who come and might give false statements..in courts... Will such previlege be available for ordinary ppl also?

CJ wants respect for SC.. But Respect is never demanded but earned... And its said.. Judges talk through their decisions.. After declaring tht PM being morally dishonest..is ok in the eyes of law..how do they expect respect from public? Why didnt they earn respect like Justice Khosa and Justice Gulzar? Today..they dont need to ask anyone for respect.. Everyone already respects them due to their bold and courageous decision, and for the fact,,tht in their eyes..everyone is equal under the law..as should be the case...

I felt the need to start this new thread because after the verdict, things were all turning gloomy in that other thread. Wanted to lift up the spirits again. To be honest, whatever the final outcome is, we are not there yet and till now nothing have happened that can be termed "disappointing". We were all expecting the same verdict. Plus if you look at the limitation of SC and try to ponder upon what else the decision could have been, you realize that this is perhaps among the best possible outcome for this stage 1.

The corrupt are just playing with our minds and want us people to think that NS have been proven innocent, killing the hope and trust of people in the process. They do not care what we the public have to say about SC or the Army or even the country!! They are just concerned with there own gov. and can go to any length to protect it. This recent charade of deception and those celebration were actually part of that process. If educated sensible members using an English language online forum fell for it, think about our masses in rural areas and all!! For them it might as well be case over. What we need to do is change that perception. PTI and Imran Khan need to do exactly that now. The petitioner should make lot of noise and keep demanding for resignation using the two disqualification notes and NO INNOCENT VERDICT as a reason. It wont help the process but will be of moral value. Keep it alive and we might just WIN IT.

Remember, it is PAKISTAN vs Corrupt!!

Your efforts are for your country! The least you can do for PAKISTAN is to keep your own hopes high even if it is against the nature and the events and spread this message. Do it for your country as hope is what the ruthless leaders want to take away from us.
