It wouldn't make sense to manufacture them for a meagre 3000 strong SSG. If we are going to produce locally, then they should be used by army. And hopefully, that means some sort of special forces training for regular army. Proper utility of this vehicle requires accurate aiming on the move. Interestingly, one of the Mahaaz episodes showed army regulars - infantry, engineers, even artillery and armor guys - getting training in Pubbi for firing on the move. Such training and tactics would increase the lethality of our forces, Insha Allah.

These types of vehicles are essential in flanking maneuvers to unsettle the enemy and cause attrition. Pair with machine gun and possibly ATGM, ensure high speeds and maneuverability, and send out in numbers. Due to lack of protection, it will be most efficacious when element of surprise lies with friendly forces.

No question that Pakistan can make a decent armoured carrier

Problem is scale up and large deployment

Our troops needs at least good protection from IED

Problem is we have so much army very little armour to go around

Even America’s were scrapping around scrap yards to find metal to add more armour to their vehicles in Iraq

its usage will be to patrol, balochistan and sindh from smuggling, illegal border movement from india and Afghanistan....this is something we need bad! given the inability to patrol and stop terrorists from getting into Pakistan via Afghanistan by our agencies and security forces.

Exactly, we need to have fast moving vehicles while males and small UAV keep an eye, as soon as some movement is detected, these patrol vehicle can be vectored to the target.

If you were a team of Soldiers patrolling a remote Area what would you be comfortable driving in ?

This vehicle is great for Hollywood movie but has no value for life protection

Or

Hizir 4x4

With 2 Support Units in NMS 4X4

I would feel more safer in Turkish Hizir


Starter Order 200 NMS 4x4 , and 200 Hizir for Pakistan's Border Patrol Western front
Would be a great starting point


Hizir should be standard model for Border Patrol or Airport/Military base security
the same can be achieved with Hamza APC

Choice of vehicle depends in mission profile. Where fast movements are essential, and surprise is with friendlies, IFVs dont make any sense. Patrolling remote areas is not the only mission. In a full on war, if taking minor losses means larger losses for the enemy, you will take the minor loss.
