but here govt is too much lenient for common people, as they think it is democracy. sometimes i feel democracy should be only for nations with 100% literacy otherwise you just ends up like India & Pakistan where you always pay for having democracy and you cannot develop your self faster.
yes much lenient indeed but not logic and economically acceptable,
Even if you are a billionaire,if you can not make more money, there is the day that you run out all your money!
Without payment of electricity charges, power companies cannot purchase electricity, and they are unable to expand the coverage of the power grid, improve service quality, and fail to develop more advanced power supply technologies.
It's not only power generation but also transmission lines and power affordability that's most important.
The purchasing power of people has to also increase in parrallel or the government is stuck with high subsidy for ever.
For Pakistan, what needs to be solved now is the problem of power generation and power supply. If there is no electricity, it is not meaningful to discuss the price of electricity.
In the electricity scarcity market, the price of electricity is certainly high.
China national fixed unit price is 0.56 yuan per kWh for household which means $0.08722 kWh
The purchasing power of people has to also increase!!
This is exactly what the Pakistani government is doing: to develop infrastructures, promote economic development, more enterprises can be created, more people can be hired, residents have wages to generate more consumption, and electricity consumption can be promoted so does the development of the electric power industry.
This is a virtuous circle.
At present, the problem in Pakistan is that since the infrastructure is not very advanced and it cannot attract domestic and foreign investment, it cannot create more employment opportunities and cannot form a virtuous circle.
China’s investment in Pakistan’s infrastructure is precisely to improve Pakistan’s most needed first step: stable electricity supply. Of course, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor also includes many other projects.
