This is all for domestic consumption
Are you sure he says the same stuff when he is in front of a US official ?
I doubt that..
Isnt he the same guy who reacted to a fake news and threatened Israeil over twitter?
Isnt he the same guy who abused Pakistan Army on the assembly floor.
Claimed Pakistan didnt win any war in a talk show?
for gods sake keep some standards..
I watched his interview with council of foreign relations and it was the most frank and genuine responses I have ever seen a Pakistani politican give.
Its the army letting Pakistan down in this instance.
His response doesnt matter till they are given on the right forum.
what happens inside a x y z peace institute is a living room talk.
Outside he says the JuD, the LeT and Haqqani are liabilities for Pakistan, which is admittance taking the ownership of such militant organizations by a serving foreign minister
Had Nawaz been still his boss he would have continued with the political rhetoric
something part of the same interview.
'Nawaz Sharif paid price for peace efforts with India"
In other worlds he is supporting Nawaz on
- ignoring Kashmir @ Ufa conference
- ignoring Kulbhashan issue @ UN
-ignoring Pakistan interests in an attempt to give India over land trade route access to Afganistan.
-undermining Pakistans interests by filing a FIR against an unknown individual after the Uri incident.
-letting go all the preconditions for talks with India.
the list is longer, if someone wants to add..
Since his boss changed now he is singing a different tune, but who knows what he is doing behind the curtain?
