It's all about branding a country. When you hear "Mercedez" or "Swiss" they both convey something. When Pakistanis mentioned you want to equate it with things that create positive impact. Being a one of the four cradles of civilization is pretty big deal. It places you with China, Egypt, Iraq. But unfortuately the lecherous Gangadeshi's have placed their grubby hands on Indus. It's like Sudan grabs Nile or Turkey claims the Mesopotamian Euphrates/Tigris. If I was in charge of branding Pakistan I would sell it as -
- home of one of four [Indus] cradles of human civilization pitch it next to Ancient Egypt ~ market it as Ancient Pakistan
- home of exquisite art of Greco-Gandhara ~ market it with the Greek aspect in Europe by focussing on Alexander, the Buddhist aspect in China/East Asia
- home of highest peaks in the world ~ Karakorums, G-B etc
