Even if it not on USD terms, increase in production means more jobs and better income. No?

Well if say the PKR value of exports increased 7% (say if its in nominal terms) and effective inflation is say 7%....since nominal = real + inflation, it means there would not really have been an increase in production/jobs/income (i.e real).

USD since its undergoing much less inflation (compared to PKR) tracks the "real" aspect to large degree as well (and also given current forex scarcity in Pakistan, takes on another degree of importance in Pak economy too).

That's why if its real figure being quoted in first place (i.e the base growth in volumes etc), then yes, what you say is correct.

I normally just wait for the final year figures anyway as much I can.
