Pakistan is at no 134 in list of GDP per capita(2014)=$4736
Its interesting to see that only top 10 richest Indians have £111 billion dollars net worth but same India is home to the largest number of poor with one-third of the world's 1.2 billion extreme poor living here. It also had the highest number of under-five deaths in the world in 2012, with 1.4 million children dying before reaching their fifth birthday, according to the UN Millennium Development Goals report 2014.

1. Longevity. Measured by the life expectancy of population.
2. Knowledge. Measured by the mean age of schooling and gross enrolment ratio.
3.Standard of living. Measured by our GNI per capita.
Position of India in human development index(2014) : 135 (out of 187 countries)
Position of Pakistan in human development (2014): 145 (out of 187 countries)
so gap is not that much which cannot be reached especially if we consider the worse situation and political instability in Pakistan since this war on teror
