I have mentioned year above each group. Reserve Bank of India notes were in circulation even until 1953 (after around 1951 circulation had become negligible). I've posted images from a collector's website although I have a big collection at home myself.

As you can see, the 1953 notes have English and Urdu, no Bengali for the West was imposing its dominance and colonialism on the East. The 1957 issues have Bengali as well, as a kind-of settlement had been reached. We never wanted to establish bilingualism like Canada.
