. . .
Most of my friends are Pashtuns the thing I love about them is their honesty and whenever I got into a fight they never leave my side even if it was against other Pashtuns.

Once I had a fight with a Pashtun guy from medical university and he ended up in hospital, next day there were so many guys from his university came to beat me up but my Pashtun friends didnt left my side so they had no choice but to do sulah safai.

For other ethnicities I find Karachi guys sense of humor is on some next level. Punjabis are political in their dealings and Sindhis are good as well. My co worker is a Sindhi and to be honest he changed my perception about Sindhis. Humble, honest and a true Muslim.

Kashmiris are ok too( I am one) :D
Let me give my experience about all of them.

Punjabis : Very high potential, Naturally Civilized to some level (more than others), but can’t generalize everyone as rural urban conflict is real.

Sindhis : This is very complicated for me to say. I have met very nice ones as well as very fu*ked up ones as well. Sindhis generally have a thirst for money more than others. They find shortcuts to things. The problem is that most of them are backwards and are into their own wadera system. They have hardworking and polite ones as well as lazy people. I find them quite proud sometimes on karachi streets but nonetheless I instead focus on the positive part. Another problem is literacy and the nepotism nature.

In short : If nurtured and educated, Can become very productive and active part of Pakistan, Already have some gems whom we are aware of, definitely good and bad are every where, I feel for their misery under the wadera rule...

Baloch : If I would ever want to hire a workforce for business or I become a HR manager, Baloch people would be on my top list of preferences, These are the hidden gems of Pakistan, For too long they have been under the cloud of darkness imposed upon them by ex rulers, No more, Time to shine and rise. These people have a high potential to learn things, they are interested to do great things if motivated, Federal gov should focus on these gems. Quite amusing people, Polite generally, and Trustworthy. Although they themselves have multiple ethnicities....

Pakhtoons : I once hired a Pakhtoon for some construction work in my friend’s office kitchen, He was not good with urdu, So didn’t get me mostly, And every next sentence was “Choro Yar, Hum tumhara kaam nai karega, Hum Jara hai”, I was laughing continuously in a friendly way. And then with too much effort, I persuaded him to finally get on with the work, He finished it but In the end, I was left brainless, Every second he was grilling me “Ye to hamara kaam nai tha, Ye kab bat hoa?” But in the end, I gave him a hug and a tip. He was happy. So point is, Very amazing people, Trustworthy, Honest, Welcoming and inviting, Difficult to understand their mind and approach, Can do wonders.

Saraikis : Ok, Karachi has a terrible saraiki crisis, People from villages come loaded in buses, establish illegal goths over someone else’s rightful land, So occupy them. If they don’t get work, some turn to beggars, others street criminals and some of them go back.

But ask me about their nature, I find them very beautiful people by heart, Not racist, Friendly towards others (Yea bad are everywhere as well so don’t quote me if that is your concern, not everyone is always good be it punjabi or whatsoever), Most importantly, HARDWORKING, make up the highest proportion of Karachi’s labour class in construction and other fields. These people should be given their rightful attention, Their villages lack basic necessities, They lack awareness and laws, Bad habit of 10+ kids per family, So gov must focus on them, provide them education, Work, Awareness, Build their villages to shape.

Kashmiris : Nice people, they compose of attributes of both Punjabis and Pakhtoons.

Urdu speaking group : So here is the thing, They themselves have varied backgrounds, some are punjabi by ancestry, some Pakhtoons, Some deccan, Delhi, Mughals, Biharis, Bengalis (rare). So qualities differ. When Pak was formed, There were very qualified and educated people among the migrants who had the potential to do greater things, Especially those who came from Aligarh. But time passed by, Pakistan fell into the trap of soviet, then afghan and FATA and all, Generations lost, MQM manipulated them then stranded them. In time, The educated class remained same or some degraded to poor class, Most are middle class while the rich ones are businessmen and not Job holders. One thing I neutrally think about them, Not into violence or fighting stuff (MQM is the minority part so don’t take it as the image), Memons are extremely and hilariously kanjoos, You will find very decent ones as well as very shitty ones.

Yo...

You guys may want to share what do you like the most in all different ethnicities of Pakistan? or what do you hate the most in them? or just a general opinion?

Let me start :

As a Urdu Speaking Karachiite; I find:-

Sindhis: Sweet people, becomes hilarious when they speak Urdu...Great accent they have. Overall Very Welcoming People, can fight if need arises BUT very poor in literacy, support wadera shahi and quota system..Blind followers of Bhutto and just comfortable in living shitty life under bhuttoism, ending up stopping/derailing Karachi and her progress....

Punjabis: They are nice as well. Sounds innocent when speak Urdu...Have good height with good health. Fond of eating food and chanting Lahore Lahore aiey :P . Possess good literacy.
But the thing I don't like about them is they are too slow in their decision making process...They don't have that Fire and Aggression to lead Pakistan. Quite Passive People...Being a Majority in Pakistan, it should be their UTMOST duty to adapt to modern concepts...Some Punjabis still fond of chu**ya Khandaani Baadshahat of Noora poora and company...This is not Right.

Saraikis: Don't know much about them...Sorry :)

Baloch: Sweet in their own...One of their kind. With extreme fighting spirit can give the enemy run for money...Hardworking people and physically VERY tough....Bad thing about them is there is still Sardarana Nizam in which they are strangled, knowingly or unknowingly...Not much literacy...Although I have sympathy for Baloch as they were greatly neglected by establishments of Pakistan.

Pashtuns: Which corner of Pakistan they are not at it? Simple hilarious people, honesty is a great trait of them. Known in Pakistan for their tough hands, hard work and great fighting passion, obviously I admire them and think of them as great asset of Pakistan...but negative is they get carried away quite a times and slow in using their brains.

Kashmiris: Just love and nothing else :)

These diversities are the real source of strength for Pakistan --- genetic and ethnic mix, combined with social mobility should create creativity and innovation
