LAHORE: Pakistan Army Captain Muhammad Arbab and five persons have broken the two world records of most push-ups and lay on nail-bed here on today in Punjab Youth Festival (PYF), Lahore.

Arbab got the credit after pushing 65 push-ups in one minute with 40 pound weight, while Pakistan seven youngster made new world record after lying on nail-bed in the Festival.

Before this, British citizen had made the 31 push-ups record in one minute with 40 pound weight, while Indian five persons had made a nail-bed record in its country event.

He is also going for most number of pushups in a 24 hour period, 46,000 - good luck soldier. :pakistan:

That's 2 pushups a second, not physically possible. Unless your clock was broken.


I've done it plenty of times before, it's not hard, you could it easily. It's practice and doing it regularly, your body gets used to the push ups after a week that you could do 50 push-ups with no effort. But once you get out of the routine and stop doing it, it becomes hard again. You actually get fed up of doing it.

Try doing push ups everyday and add 5-10 on everyday. Nevertheless great achievement from the captain, especially with 40 pounds on the back, he must be a tough nut.
