Pakistani short film “Heal” honoured with Frank Capra Award

ISLAMABAD (APP): Heal, a short film by Pakistani Director and Writer, Mian Adnan Ahmed has been honored with Frank Capra Award at this year’s Fallbrook Film Festival in US.
The film got four international awards in different film festivals last year featuring a unique story between the regions of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
The movie will be also screened at the Berkshire International Film Festival on June 5th at US.
While Pakistan remains in the eye of the storm, a short film from Pakistan has also been receiving laurels in the U.S and around the world for the powerful concept which uses the supernatural to bring focus to the often ignored plight of civilians living in times of conflict, said Adnan Ahmed while talking to APP.

. . . . . . .
Seems interesting. Will definitely have to watch it.

.
Are they speaking Pashto or Farsi?

I speak neither language, but it seemed more like Farsi to me.

It seem nice film but why its in Persian if its Pakistani film :undecided:

There are plenty of Dari speakers in Pakistan, especially in Peshawar & close by areas. There are plenty of Dari speakers in Balochistan too. Dari is Persian, pretty much the same thing as Farsi spoken in Iran.

I agree bro there are Pakistani who understand dari/farsi but they are not plenty and these dari speaker would not be even 2 percent of Pakistani population so majority Pakistani will watch and understand this film after reading translation/subtitle . Heal is Pakistani short film which Pakistani don't understand. It would be better if this film was in Urdu or any other Pakistani language.
