Both India and Pakistan are as good and as bad as each other!

Just do one favour for your countries, kick out the corrupt a55holes from power, so both countries can develop and ALL Indians and Pakistanis can enjoy a good standard of living.

It doesn't need to become a troll thread.

There is no harm in admitting that India has done some things better -- MUCH better -- than Pakistan and is reaping the fruits. The education system, the land reforms, the grass roots democracy, fighting illiteracy, diseases and poverty, etc. are all areas where India's experience has lessons for other countries.

We don't need to be so insecure that we can't learn from India's (and others') experience.

It is true. But u also have to take into consideration the original poster's intentions. And how many times these Indians will make us "admit", that they r better, more sophisticated, more rational, more beautiful, more advanced (did I miss anything) and what not.. I think it is like 5-10 times per day that we see such threads and/or posts

BTW you just proved we are advanced intellectually atleast from posters like you.

See Developereo what I meant...

I won't call it a very significant development. Humility is something that is essential to understand if we have to grow stronger by the day. I for once despite my dislike, appreciate the Chinese government and state management the way they have come out of poverty and corruption. They have shown the world that there's no need to follow someone else's laws to rise and develop.

Imperial Japan was arrogant and over confident at one stage. But after WW2, it learnt humility and see how today it is one of the most advanced nations in the world.

As an Indian, I sincerely admire countries like Japan, Korea, Singapore etc, who showed the world that Asia is not simply a basket region. We must respect their advancement and be inspired to grow and become like them.

Pakistan is on the right track.

Accepting someone in an obviously higher position doesn't make anyone small; in fact, it lays down the foundation of one's own growth. :)

All that is left for Pakistan to do is take radical steps to increase power generation, eliminate jihadism and introduce further social, educational and economic reforms. If this is done, then there won't be any reason why Pakistan cannot emerge to the top. :)

These are politicians and Sad Rafique's whole point was that India is "Quite Ahead" because they didn't have military interventions. For the politicians, he mentioned that their politicians were more "Ganday Manday" than him. So when you are accepting India is quite ahead, then accept the other side of the story as well. He also talked about how simple were Indian Bureaucratic offices and you may take it on the positive side.

If you need to learn about true picture of either side, learn from people who are at-least not politicians. These politicians change their father once a year, what authenticity can they have for their opinion given on a TV show which is also to highlight their pain and suffering.

What you meant, did you read his argument, bringing banned topic Toilet and you are highlighting one part of entire statement. How the hell is that guy in constructive discussion.

See Developereo, that's what ruins the quality of each and every thread, people being biased and selective, bringing banned topics when they fail to put something useful.

Here is a good example of a pathetic Indian trying to suppress the truth about his "Shining India"
What's pathetic is you resorting to banned topics set by MODs of your country and you still violating them. I know where my country lag, bu I also know where my country Shines. If you can argue in mature way, I will do the same. Don't bring bad name for your fellow country posters.

Now should I list down achievements of India by admitting the negative parts. The positive ones list is too long. Just let me know when you need the education about Shining India in field of science and technology, economics, education, agriculture, foreign policy, soft power and what not.....

I will be happy to enlighten you what India has achieved.

First of the guy who made this statement in clip is not a scholar not even in the vicinity, declaring a third rated MNA from PMLN who's the part of insane politics of Mr. Nawaz Sharif is a scholarly stupidity in itself. Secondly the point he made is completely misunderstood by certain posters - what all he's trying to put up is the continuity of the democracy in India which certainly has created opportunities which we Pakistanis lack, please do find the remarks he made about politicians in India in very clip.

Although the intentions of the OP are clearly malafide but still I do agree with the argument that India is ahead of us in certain fields, for example continuity of democracy; land reforms; educational system (at gross root level in particular); health related facilities and some more. Such reforms can be made in Pakistan too, what all it takes is a WILL and thats it.
