At some point the downward plunge will end. There will be a yo-yoing of the PKR before it settles into a new defined range.
Problem is no one including the SBP head know what that range is or when some stability will manifest itself.

There will be a lot of hardship to go around before things stabilize economically.

This slow erosion is far better than a sudden drop, which would be disruptive.

it will hurt devaluing the rupee yes, but in the long term this makes Pakistan products cheaper and more attractive on the international market. the last government should have done this, bu instead kept the value up artificially by taking out loans to prop up the rupee.
