Pakistani Representative shows wrong pic at UN - Indian media erupts

If he would have been in Pakistan, he would have been killed by now for thinking against defence establishment.

If he would have been in China, his entire family have been killed by now for thinking against communist party!!!

Not at all, in Pakistan he would have been living a happy life. Kashmiris don't have any business being in Indian union.

The same guy who after becoming politicians said the distance between Karachi to Bangladesh was same as the distance between Karachi and Southern France? Lol

Keep on dreaming. Koi tax nahi laga hai.

Kashmir is indian occupied territory and a disputed region no matter what indian propagandists says.

Isn't it wonderful how every figure of authority becomes an advocate of the Indian side after retirement? Does that say anything to you?

They are politicians now and they know how to do u turn if you see some facts after intersection.

Isn't it wonderful how everyone who acknowledges the Indian case turns out to be a U turning politician? Perhaps they should put patriotic Pakistani perseverance in the endangered species list.

Just like katju, arundhati, boss, zakir naek, etc became controversial figures.

Yeah we know Pakistani track record of official statements. "No Pakistani regular at Kargil" "No Osama in Pakistan" "This photo of kasmiri innocent injured with pellets" "Only 2 people died in Zarb-e-Azb". Plus we don't know who you classify as civilians. In case that "Everyone who held a weapon or aided and terrorist is considered as Enemy Combatants" then we have harmed not a single "Civilian" ( we may also argue that the wounded where not "civil" at that time, hence where fired upon)

Your counter argument is just shooting yourself in the foot, even shooting those assisting or working with terrorists is better than innocent women and children who are going about their business.

By the way, to this day there remains zero unrest over civilian deaths in the Tribal Areas and KPK, while the entirety of Kashmir is on fire and demanding an end to occupation. You might call us liars, but comparing the unrest and outrage from both areas its pretty clear who is actually blind to the truth.

It proves what Dr. Lodhi has stated and showed in her speech has a background.
What background? That picture was of a palestinian girl this is of a Hindu temple. No connection between the two

Why should Katju and Arundhati be controversial figures? Many of us support them. I loathe Zakir Naik, but that is my personal view. I disagree with Katju on many points, especially when he is offensive towards his former colleagues on the bench, for which he faced a contempt ruling, but he is needed. So is Arundhati Roy; she keeps us constantly examining our positions.

It is the hyper-nationalists who hate them; these are ill-read, inadequate people who take emotional positions on subjects that they know nothing about, and are guided by the views of manipulative people who exploit their gullibility and ignorance. Just like some Pakistanis who engage me in one-sided conversations.

Get your facts right. It was not a Muslim majority state; those were the Punjab, NWFP, and Sindh, and British administered Balochistan, and Bengal in the east. Kashmir was a princely state.

Ever figured out the difference?

it had a big Muslim majority

it was thus a muslim majority state that wanted the simple rights the rest of us got during Partition and that was to separate from india and be part of Pakistan

simply accepting the will of the people would have allowed peace in the sub continent to establish itself

India playing idiot's trying to force a muslim majority state under its occupation has created generations of war and emnity

I believe India made a tactical mistake here. It stooped to the level of pakistan, and has now resulted in name calling and slandering. The whole world is laughing at both of us.

We should have just ignored them in the UNGA. We gave too much importance and played into their hands.

Does it matter? what is the difference between you and israel anyway? both are ditto copy of each other when it comes to committing atrocities on Kashmir/Palestine.

There are so many pics like that on internet that now it's becoming hard to id whether it's Kashmir or Palestine.

No wonder you two are besties of each other both learn from each other how to commit genocide.

@Burhan Wani @Arsalan @django @saiyan0321 @Zibago

That is all well and good and yes nobody can hide the heavy handedness and cruel tactics of Indian army in occupied Kashmir but that does not negate this blunder.

The UNGA is a massive event and the foreign office should be well prepared for this event and such a blunder is unforgivable. Maleeha lodhi is a very capable person and her answer to Indian abuse was amazing but the picture ruined it. There were thousands of pictures including the one where they tied a kashmiri to car and this failure needs to be investigated so that this is not repeated.

Such a high profile needs top notch preparation.

Get your facts right; it isn't painful, just involves an hour or two of reading. Learn the difference between princely states and British India. Suddenly things will get clearer.

At the time that the raiders came in, the Maharaja was still inclined to accede to Pakistan. This, in sporting parlance, is called a self-goal.

India playing idiot's trying to force a muslim majority state under its occupation has created generations of war and emnity

We remain, in the same geographical dimensions that we had; we are stronger, economically and in military ways; we have very wide international support. So who wins keeping up these generations of war and enmity? We?
