sir, i think your comparison of US and India is wrong.

India hasn't gone for war on terror against any nation.

US has killed lakhs of Muslims.

India has killed only thousands of Muslims. majority were killed in border infiltration and counter terror attacks.

India's anger is against terrorists and not Islam.

US on other hand has started media war against Islam. ( your post says same.)

Us actions have resulted in death of lakhs of Iraqis

US is a superpower and has balls that equals their status and they will go to any extent to avenge their dead countrymen, while for Indian establishment a dead Indian is just another statistic. So you are right there is no comaprison b/n India & US when it comes to dealing with terror.

Well bans/suspensions are not given on just one post. You get infractions and when you get 3-4 infractions, then you get suspended based on the infractions you got. But again, had it been me, and had it been what you had written and had it not been off-topic/derailing of topic at hand, i would not have given the infraction or suspension as the conversation by you seems fine. But may be other factors joined in, which you may not be knowing. Anyway, it was past, hope you don't face such a situation in future.

Well as for Pakistani media, i can assure you, we are not fed the kind of propaganda as you are thinking. May be in the times of having just national TV, that may have been the case, but since private TV channels have been allowed, things are different, they don't feed any propaganda against Hindus or India, rather the Aman ki Asha thingy was launched by one of the media groups from the Pakistani side and the Indian side, may be it gives you an idea. So, don't worry, things have changed, as i said, we watch whatever we like, be it CNN, BBC, Fox News, Sky News, you just name it. If you get to watch the pakistani news channels sometime, you will see Indian or Hindus hardly get mentioned or the propaganda you are thinking. If you get time and opportunity, do watch the pakistani news channels, you will be amazed and they are pretty good too. Even during the height of tension between Indian & Pakistan, ours never showed any war mongering reports as shown on the Indian news media, which we saw.

And i condemned the Chinese action but then i defended not only Chinese, but everyone else, India, US, Iran, Turkey and everyone else, that all these countries do actions which may kill their own countrymen, but they seem it a right action to satisfy their security concerns and integrity.

Radicals & extremists mostly uses religious places to preach their ideology, that is why they get banned and young people get radicalized more easily.

Nah it was not off topic because i was replying back to guy who proposed the premise of NATO bombing mosques and he would have got banned if off topic but never got banned just I. The previous ban was mind boggling too- in that case an indian chap was going on about how everything was a conspriracy without any proof to his assertions. I said/ replied well if thats the mentaility basically, then one can say you are not the child of your parents as a point about conspriracies. Mod read that last piece " you are not the child of parents etc etc.., never bothered to see in what context and bamn - banned me.


regarding the quality of Pak media. did I not see a topic today about some channel bashing hindus posted here today? and then of course there is zaid hamid who is treated as a real secruity analyst all about your TV channels.

If the US banned children from going to white Christian churches and synagogues, as well as from mosques, then I don't think Pakistanis would care. Its the US's own problem and its not specifically targetting islam.

A) China does not differentiate between religions - If a Jewish or Christians were to organize riots and threaten internal security then China would do the same - I am sure the people killed in Tiananmen Square were not Muslims.Chinese Authorities have no bias against Islam whatsoever.We don't see any Islamophobia from Chinese Members here (Plus minus few examples compared to Indians who are always supporting anything against Islam and full blanket support for Israel)
B) China does not interfere in other countries affairs like America - China is not running Drone Network all over the world.
C) Pretty much all the Pakistanis think that the so called rioters in China are backed by CIA and other western government so you wont have any luck in disrupting Sino Pak ties.Latest Survey Shows almost 88%+ Positive View of China in Pakistan.I know you guys try hard to make us think that Chinese are evil imperialist people and all that stuff but won't work.We know how innocent you and Americans are - Good Attempt Though Keep trying..it won't work and speaking of hypocrisy look at USA it brings up freedom of speech card whenever it has to negoiate with China but it worked very hard to block all funding sources of Wikileaks and trying to extradite Julian Assange..the same country which backs democratic thugs in Libya and supports Autocratic Thugs in Bahrain.
PS: Don't worry about Ban..This is not bharat ratsh!t or World Affairs Forum run by so called freedom of speech advocates who ban anyone against their general viewpoint (I.E against Israel or anything in favor of Islam ...)

Most people get banned for offtopic comments, personal insults, flamebaiting.

Now about the topic - well to tell you honestly, it just doesn't come on our radar that often. We know there is a very real terrorism problem in Chinese Xinjiang. Some of it is even our fault - our crap spilled over there.

We view China more for how it deals with Pakistan, it doesn't give us aid but gives us business, mega development projects, science and technology. Our relationship is of mutual benefit.

America feeds Pakistani leaders bribe money. 20 Billion dollars that America gave as aid would mean that Pakistan today could have had 20,000 US$ millionaires. You generate that many millionaires in any country the economy itself would turn around.

That money went nowhere except in people's pockets and America wanted it that way. Any one doing proper accounting would have asked for not 20 billion but 78 billion (actual Pakistani costs in 10 years).

Frankly I was not accepting much of a Halle-la-le-lujah moment because of this post. I knew the the direction of the replies would be to vehemently be defensive and talk about every other reasoning. As such I have to say what does aid have to do with suppresion of your religion- why calling a spade a spade gets so difficult ? We see 100"s of up in arms over Burqua bans but excuses when it is bans executed by china. thats all.
