Average fees of Private schools like Beacon House,Roots and such is 10,000 Rs per Pupil. Yet they cannot afford 24 hour armed security guards. No High definition CCTV. No Automatic Number Plate recognotion cameras. No Frequency jammers for stopping terrorist communication and Remote detonation of Bombs.
These items dont cost much . But under current situation when Taliban are after school chidren, having their rear ends kicked by men of Pakistan army.

KARACHI (Web Desk) – Fear and panic gripped the area when some unknown miscreants hurled two cracker bombs on a school on Abul Hassan Isphahani Road in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of the metropolis today (Tuesday), Dunya News reported.

According to police, the attack took place at 6:30am whereas the suspects managed to flee from the scene.

Fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident as no student was present in the school early morning.

According to DIG Munir Sheikh, one cracker bomb was hurled inside the school while another was tossed outside the building.

Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad took notice of the incident and sought details from Commissioner. He also directed theeducation department to implement decisions regarding security of the schools.

Provincial Education Minister Nisar Khuhro also directed to increase police patrolling around the schools.

Meanwhile, Rangers personnel arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area. DG Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar also visited the site.

Authorities have started gathering evidence from the scene.

THREAT LETTTER

The attackers have also left a pamphlet threatening more attacks if hangings of convicted terrorists continue, sources told.

Earlier on today, two convicted terrorists, Attaullah and Azam were hanged till death in Karachi Central Jail.

The government has stepped up military operations in the tribal areas, reinstated the death penalty and allowed militarycourts to try civilians — all attempts to crack down on terrorism after the Peshawar school tragedy.

Security of schools across the country has been tightened following December 16 Taliban attack on Army Public School in Peshawar that left more than 150 people dead, most of them students.

Many of the schools have beefed-up security including heightened security walls, closed-circuit surveillance systems and privately contracted guards.
